I messaged two organizations I'm interested in and only heard back from one after a week. I decided to go with the one that was responsive. I'm quite disappointed with the inconsistency of the service fees as they increase each time I checked and it's difficult to book sooner when they take so long to respond. However, I had decided to book my first trip and hope that the experience will be worthwhile.

During my investigation for which I would like to sign up for as well as the booking process, I have received swift answers from Linda and Mariela which were highly appreciated.
In regards to the project manager/coordinator, Gloria, I appreciate she is busy and it took some further time before getting a response after a few reminders. I think this was natural but to some extent it also gave me a bit worried experience as I was thinking about if I during my stay in Ghana needed an urgent response if that would be possible. Hence, my recommendation is that you always keep your applicants up to date about the process within a few days as I from time to time have been a whole week before I got an answer.
I’m still looking very much forward to start the project!
