I've ordered one time before this and it was a great experience - good quality 1P, and relatively fast shipping (with great stealth). *I initially wrote a review stating frustration with the problem and said I would update about how it was resolved. See below: The first time it was easy to do a wire transfer, but this time my bank seemed to prepopulate incorrect information when I tried to do a wire transfer. I'm kind of confused by what happened next, but I accidentally exited out of the page and then apparently made a duplicate order requesting to use bitcoin rather than wire transfer (though this was a mistake and I didn't want to use bitcoin). I continued to try to send the wire through my bank but was having a lot of issues - the duplicate order generated an email from cointopay which is the cryptocurrency payment service for chemical collective, but I didn't understand that at first and they didn't really explain that at first, so I emailed them for a long time before, during and after this wire transfer and they were not helpful at all, giving me some misinformation along the way, and not answering direct questions very well. That is less a criticism of chemical collective and more a criticism of the payment service that they partner with. I think this was also just kind of a weird fluke, and also a bit of my fault for accidentally exiting out of the initial page and getting confused and making a duplicate order. Anyways, Jack reached out to me a few days later to say that the wire transfer did go through but that there was a duplicate order and also they have decided to stop accepting wire transfers from the US. Jack shared that I would have to give a bitcoin wallet, and he would refund my money, and basically I would have to repurchase it with bitcoins. However, I asked him if he could reconsider since I didn't know they weren't accepting wire transfers from USA anymore and that wasn't stated on the website at the time of my purchase. I felt frustrated because I did wire transfer to avoid the hassle of having to set up a bitcoin wallet, even though the international bank transfer fee is highway robbery (35$ !!!), and I wish I had known upfront that this wire transfer wouldn't be accepted, and I would lose 35$ and I still would have to go through the headache of using bitcoin anyway. There was also a discrepancy in the amount that my bank said was sent, and the amount that Jack said he received which wasn't explained but perhaps had to do with his own bank's fees. Anyways, Jack said sorry for the confusion and basically hooked me up and said don't worry about going through a refund process, and don't worry about the discrepancy in payment, saying you've paid more than enough with those annoying bank transfer fees. Jack was very easy to deal with, very helpful, very down to earth and professional. Despite the mix up and the fact this new change about the wire transfers was not listed on the website, I'm still giving them a 5 star review because dependable companies that supply this type of quality product are hard to come by. My only criticism is that this change about not accepting wire transfers from the US needs to be put on the website ASAP. However I had faith that this issue would be dealt with because they seem to have a history of good customer service. Just to reiterate for anyone reading this please do be aware that they are not accepting wire transfers from the USA anymore, because of the headaches of international bank transfer fees. They are accepting bitcoin. If I order again it will be with bitcoin.
