I went to Arusha (Tanzania) and it was the most incredible experience of my life. I have absolutely no regrets. The people there and the volunteers are so nice. Everything is really overwhelming.

I joined the Kenya Volunteer program with Volunteering Solutions in August 2022. There are so many ways to explain how and why this program was the most meaningful work I have ever done. I really appreciated the opportunity to give back to the local community through donations. It was extremely rewarding to discuss how my donations would positively impact the lives of children at the orphanage. The volunteer house had all the amenities one could ask for, provided by friendly and caring people working to coordinate the program. The Safari at Nairobi's national park was an exciting addition to an already amazing week. To anyone wishing to make a difference and meet some like-minded friends along the way, I couldn't recommend this program enough!

Great people, safe and clean accommodation, a great experience overall. Got to experience a lot through the safari, city tour, and public transportation. Joe and Joseph were super kind and helpful as well! Joe was the coordinator and went out of his way to help us.

I have done the Summer program in India for 3 weeks. It is impossible, in a few lines, to describe the three weeks of the program, even in a minimum part. In three weeks I've seen incredibly beautiful things such as temples, mountains, fields extending as far as the eye can see, crowded markets, remote towns in the mountains, and people performing rituals as old as the world. I've met incredibly generous and welcoming people, always curious about us and enthusiastic about meeting people from different parts of the world. I've learned a lot about the culture, the spectacular cuisine, the lifestyle, and how modern life and the millenary traditions are integrated into each other in the daily life of Indians. The experience with the children is for sure the most special of the whole program. I've seen in them the great values of the Indian people: generosity, the will to share the little they have, and honest affection. A special thank to all the people of Volunteering Solutions, a great organization, and always available to help.
These 3 weeks in India are for sure one of the most precious and dear experiences of my life, and I am thankful to every person that made this possible.

I spent two weeks Volunteering with Mr. Frederick Addai in Tamale, Ghana. I learned so much from Frederick and I am truly grateful that he was the coordinator of this trip. Frederick taught us the 'Ghanian' way and introduced us to so many different people and cultural practices during my short time in Ghana. I loved working with him at the Maltiti Methodist Girls School, and, since I've returned home to the states, I've remained in contact with Frederick so much so that we've started a fundraising program together in order to support the students of Maltiti. I look forward to returning to Ghana to visit Frederick and the community as soon as I can!

I had an amazing time during my internship in Delhi. I stayed for 6 weeks and participated in the medical program. The internship gave me the opportunity to shadow several doctors in different specialties. I have gained valuable knowledge through observing surgeries and working in different departments. Apart from that, my time at the volunteer guesthouse has been exceptionally memorable. The house coordinator was always helpful and provided me with everything I needed, I made plenty of friends and tons of memories during my stay. I would advise new volunteers to have an open mind when entering the country as there can be a culture shock. However, the entire experience is something one should consider. I highly recommend it!

The host is very kind and would make everything easier for you there, and the people really need help from us so you can feel yourself useful, specially after a few days realising how important you are for the kids and how much they love you for choose them and being there.

I‘ve been volunteering in Spain for 2 weeks and I enjoyed every second.
We’ve been 4 teammates and our awesome guide. Everyday we did something new. Like watering baby oak trees in the mountains, catching invasive turtles, beach clean-up‘s or micro plastic transects. Everyday I went pleased to bed, because it was physical labor but also very, very important work. 10/10 points for this project 🫶🏼

Before arriving at my internship in Chiang Mai, I found communications from Volunteering Solutions to be confusing and contradictory. However, after arriving and participating in my internship, I came away with an amazing experience. Because I was at a teaching hospital (Majarah) I had a much more hands-on experience than I was expecting. Staff at Friends for Asia and at the hospital were welcoming, informative, and enriched my experience.

Had an excellent time in Nepal. Uma was wonderful and the kids at the school were amazing. Still can't get the taste of the yummy food from my mouth!!

My solo trip to Thailand was amazing! So many bucketlist items were checked off on this list. All of the excursions, flights, hotels, and details were handled to perfection. It made traveling a breeze! My tour group ended up being only 3 people but now we are the best of friends and got along amazingly! All of the hotels we stayed at were so nice and far beyond my expectation! We were always escorted although we didn't have an official guide which was a surprise to me upon my arrival but didn't affect my trip at all. I do wish more of the details were shared such as where our accommodations were exactly prior to the trip as well as maybe forming a whatapp group of the participants before the travel date. The facebook group was not helpful. There were a few hiccups in finding drivers and confusion on the itenerary but Volunteering Solutions handled it. Overall 10/10 and I would highly recommend Volunteering Solutions to any person traveling alone.

I had problems with lack of information and I only participated in the project for one day, but everything else was great.

This was an enjoyable trip where we learned many new things throughout each experience. There was a great feeling of community and kindness among the other volunteers which made the whole thing much more fun! The orphanage was lovely along with the people there who helped us each day, we created a fantastic connection with each kid and baby which made the experience very special! The safari during the weekend was just what we needed, everything was very well organized and prepared for us so that we could have the best time possible. Overall, great trip to Kenya!
