lt has been very easy to follow the process to apply and pay my deposit. My only problem is the exchange rate on my Australian Dollar was an extra $114.00 on the $237.00 fee. Will it be the same for every payment?

Very happy with the Volunteer World Platform! So happy I found you. Lots of options around the world for many types ways to give back to different communities, ecosystems and the world as a whole. And, quick responses when you need help. I had no idea these opportunities existed until I found Volunteer World. Thank you for giving me the opportunity.

I'm going to Peru to help with wildlife conservation. It will be an experience of a lifetime. I also have plans for Zimbabwe, Thailand, Indonesia and Tasmania. I have the organizations already selected. 1 per year.

My only suggestion - once a deposit is made - provide the full contact details of the organization within the follow-up receipt of deposit OR separate email. These organizations are super busy with their work at hand, so with contact details, the application can initiate response to speed up the process if/as required.

Nice and easy to use

I used Volunteer Work to book a local costal cleanup project with MareBlu in Costa Rica and I had a time greater than words could say. Embarking on this gave me an opportunity to stay in a foreign country and witness the best of Costa Rica. I had never been anywhere with as much natural beauty. So much greenery and stunning plants and animals all around. Our camp was also on 2 stunning beaches with so many tropical plants, warm water than made swimming conditions great and the best sunsets ever. It was just a tropical paradise. Also got the chance to see true Central American jungles through night walks and a jungle crocodile safari. Those were just beyond what words could say. Everything was dreamy and I could not comprehend that I was actually doing this.

On top of this the project itself was meaningful and it was motivating to address a much needed issue of plastic pollution. The quality of the work was okay for the most part and the supervisors, Geronimo, Paula and Dawn were all super friendly and welcoming. It was also something meeting fellow volunteers from across the world. Everyone was extraordinarily nice. Made for a great atmosphere.

I am so glad that Volunteer World was there to connect travelers like me to projects around the world and for facilitating these life changing opportunities. Travel is far more enriching than anything else that I could be doing and Volunteer World made it possible for me.

Ich bin ziemlich zufrieden, alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, beantworten meine Fragen umgehend und helfen mir bei Dingen, die ich im Zusammenhang mit dem Programm nicht so ganz verstehe. Obwohl dies mein erster Versuch war, mit Volunteer World einen Freiwilligendienst zu absolvieren, war ich sehr angenehm überrascht, wie detailliert die Beschreibungen der einzelnen Programme waren und wie gründlich die Vorbereitung für die Freiwilligen war, sodass es sich nicht verwirrend anfühlte, in ein fremdes Land zu gehen. Ich werde Volunteer World immer wieder nutzen!

It was pretty easy to understand, the only thing is that we understood to late that it was US dollar and not Canadian dollar but that is really probably our fault.

not very clear what to do and how to arrange my visum with not much information

The sign-up process for this organisation was incredibly smooth, and I was impressed with how quickly they got in touch with me. It made the whole experience very efficient and hassle-free. Additionally, I appreciated how Ivan and I had in-depth discussions over WhatsApp and email to ensure that I was fully prepared for the task at hand. I'm looking forward to volunteering this summer.
