The whole process has gone very smoothly, thanks to Stephanie from the Habibi Center. She always responds very promptly and in a clear and informative, constructive way.
The only thing I am nor happy with is that in your information it says a deposit of 15% has to be paid. I was charged 18%. Pascal explained that this was to be deducted from the final payment. Well, as Habibi Center doesn’t charge a fee it means that I had to pay 161€ instead of 135@. No big deal you may think. Maybe not, but it should be clearly stated in your information that this is the case.
Having said that, I am very happy with the application process overall and look forward to my time at the Habibi Center!

Couple of irritations that shouldn’t be there. If a project doesn’t provide airport transfers, which is perfectly reasonable. I think the least should be information how we arrange to get there from the airport . I mean they are local and would have a wealth of knowledge from previous volunteers at the very least. This information should be on the website where it states “we don’t provide pick up but you can do this!”

I got late reply on my questions. All the automatic generated e-mails are nice and enthausiastic but the specific information for me is difficult to find. Like what can i expact or what do i need to know about the project. So i can prepare myself. I also would loved to have a kind of intake. In a week i will start and i dont know when and where i get picked up, this gives unnacessary stress.
