Meine Buchungserfahrungen mit Voluntier World waren bisher sehr gut, alles ist reibungslos verlaufen. Doch was mich sehr erstaunt, sind die Preise! Ich habe Glück, dass ich mir mit einem Lohn aus der Schweiz die 10.000 Franken nach ein paar Jahren zusammensparen kann, auch wenn es mit der Schule und allem anderen nicht einfach war. Und das, obwohl ich gesehen habe, dass ich eher ein günstiges Angebot gewählt habe. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, wie das für junge Leute aus ärmeren Ländern möglich sein sollte. Außerdem sollten die Unterhaltskosten auf den Philippinen doch nicht so hoch sein, denn ich könnte für diesen Preis auch problemlos ein Hotel buchen! Daher stellt sich mir die Frage: Warum ist die finanzielle Hürde so hoch und für viele wirtschaftlich schwächere Länder beinahe unmöglich, bei Voluntier World zu arbeiten?

I think they do wonderful things for the animals and applaud all their efforts. The accommodations for volunteers did not look at pictures and we didn’t stay because we could not adjust - while we were willing to be down and fort and help however possible - we needed to feel we had a clean place to sleep. It didn’t meet our expectations and hygiene level. D

Reserved and partly paid for. The only thing I need is the directions for transport from Liberia to Tambor Bay. But I’m not going until 2024 so I figured there would be time to get that information. Hopefully it will be everything I am hoping for - lots of turtle eggs, mamas and babies and not too hot/humid. I am bringing a personal fan and hoping that I don’t have to use it. Thanks.
