I very much enjoyed using Volunteer World platform to search for my next volunteer experience. It's very easy to use and has tons of different choices to choose from. It also has filters to help narrow down to certain areas of interest. So far it's been a really nice way to find what I was looking for. Can't wait for this next adventure, Ecuador here we come...

Great organization. Although it's possible to book directly with nonprofit orgs (and probably puts more money in their pockets) Volunteer World offers a great overview of options in a country or in the type of work you'd like to do, as well as clear, specific information about the organizations it recommends. It also offers excellent customer support for booking volunteer experiences, as well as for dealing with any questions or challenges that come up in that process. I so appreciated their help in navigating what was for me, a new world.

I really wanted to pay my bill in full, and not just a down payment for volunteering. The hostess quickly and politely responded to my questions, but getting to pay was a challenge. Gratefully, she was finally wiling to send me a bill through Pay Pal. I'm positive this is going to be a great experience and appreciate all that you have done.

I struggle to rate the booking experience this high. It was confusing, no contact information was given to coordinate things until after a payment was made, which seemed kind of sketchy. It was hard to find out information. I couldn't get a straight answer on how to change my travel dates.
