I have had Utiliz for about 3 ½ years. In the first year I saved about $150. In the subsequent 2 ½ years I saved only an additional $150. That's before subtracting the $135 account costs. Given that my average monthly electric bill is about $200, the savings relative to my overall costs is an underwhelming 2%.

Utilize has been great. They research and sign up for alternative energy sources on my behalf so I don't have to worry about whether I am paying too much for my electric bill.

I've saved maybe $75 this year, with no effort, which is great... it would be more but I never received the 'gift card' from the intiial service switch (even after dealing with customer service at Utiliz and the provider). I'll take savings, but am miffed about the card, which is still being included in Utiliz' 'reports on your savings.'
