Since deregulation occurred in NY state, I have been a little overwhelmed by the options. I am a busy guy and don't have a lot of time to compare rates between all of the power suppliers available in my county. The fee is low enough that I wasn't worried about losing money even if it didn't work out. But after a few renewals I can see that I am saving more than I am spending.
