Make sure you use the specific vacuum sealer recommended or you will be wasting your Umai bags which is exactly what I did before finding to read the fine prints. Wished that message was more prominent to begin with. I wrote to their support contact but never got any response.

Great product, I followed the directions and my product came out perfect. Also tried it for ageing steaks they turned out as good if not better then the steak I've eaten at my local steak and chop house. I'm going to have e to order more kits from UMAi.

Sensational casings and highly recommend them to anyone wanting to make salami at home.
I have been using these casings for about 2 years now and have had perfect success.
I recently purchased the new 70mm casings and made Venison Finocchiona. Must say it is the best salami I have eaten. Sadly I only made 4.5kgs and most went to good salami lovers homes.

Dear Sir,
I think UMAi Dry is fantastic and rate it very highly and would recommend it to anyone interested in charcuterie, except for the fact the shipping is crippling and makes it a very expensive product in the United Kingdom. Can I suggest you have a UK outlet (maybe a franchise or Amazon) that UK customers don’t have to pay the cost of shipping over the Atlantic.

I have tried dry aging steak, charcuterie (pancetta & capicola) and salumi (mettwurst & salami) all with great success. Everyone thinks I'm a genius but it is so easy and everyone loves it.
