Having just done the GNR in September and heading to my home town for my first GWR was really looking forward to the event. It was well organised, I ran for Force as my charity, they were fantastic, and the crowds were amazing, volunteers were superb, full of joy and spirit, and the course, bloody hard let me tell you, but just great to be apart of it and running on home soil, so to speak, was magic, dates for next year please!!

Great event, well organised, just a shame you don't use recycled paper cups for water/energy drinks, the plastic is such as waste, most peole only take a couple of sips anyway!? And if you flatten the hills that would be even better!!

great event and well organised. I felt that the pacers were quite hard to see from a distance, the signs they were using were too small and even when they were only a short distance in front of me it was quite hard to spot them. maybe flags would be better, i have been in another race where the pacers wore a back pack that had a pole and flag attached to it, it was really visible from quite a distance away. A few more music stations or bands along the route would also be good.

Excellently organised event. Start uncomplicated with an easy beginning (downhill) and plenty of marshals along the route. University and Polsoe hills exhausting but managed to get up them. No banana at the finish though.
