I love these beautiful turquoise lacquered jewellery boxes, I bought them to match the larger jewellery box I got for Christmas. All three of them look fab on my dressing table and the amount of storage I have gained is amazing. I ordered from the UK online and the whole experience was was and simple. Great product.

This item was out of stock and nobody bothered to email me to let me know. I called to find out when I should expect my order and that's when I found out they were on back order. The person on the phone was very nice and a sure me when they got some in the would ship it quickly which they did. The only problem is it is missing the etching cream that was supposed to come with it.

Hi Carol. I am very sorry about this. We were upgrading our system last few weeks and we lost visibility into things like backorders. I am very sorry. The supplier has been backordered with etching cream until end of Feb. We included an extra roll of vinyl that was equal to the value of the etching cream as a substitute. If you still would like the etching cream please contact us towards the end of Feb and we will ship one out free of charge.

The item(picturewas fine. I desperately needed it by 1223 at 6 PM. I had a confirmation from FedEx it would arrive during that timeframe. Instead it was delivered the following day at 12:10 when the recipient was no longer in town and I no longer have use for the Christmas present.

I ordered the set of two lacquer boxes in turquoise about a week and a half before Christmas and never expected them to arrive in time, but they did! I was so happy to display these two boxes in my newly decorated gray bedroom with pops of turquoise, for all to see. They are exactly as the website shows and the color is a very good match. The boxes are sturdy, shiny, lined with velvet and so beautiful. I am hoping to buy a few other items from Swing Design in the future.
