I play a Kiesel Vader V8 in drop E and these strings provide great tension throughout the whole range. They have a great feel to them. I also like ordering from Stringjoy because they are a small business and I feel more of a connection to this company than one of the giants. Awesome set of strings. So far they have lasted me well over 2 months and they're still punchy and clear. I chose this set for the much improved tight end and increased sustain. Couldn't recommend any higher for any style \m/ stay brutal everyone

Played my first set of Stringjoy strings this past weekend. I ordered a custom set, 40, 60, 80, 105, 125. The music in my band requires a lot of E and B string. Even open B! I've got to say, these strings are off the hook! From the moment I string them up, they were great. The feel, sound, response, tuning. I actually love everything about them and will continue using them on all my basses. The entire ordering process, tracking of the package, packaging and handwritten note inside was awesome. Glad to find a company that actually cares as much about their customers as much as they do about the quality of their products.

Just got 4 sets (3 electric 1 acoustic). So far I'm loving these strings. For my Fender Lead 1 (highly modified...) went with a custom set 11 - 40 (kinda based off the Mike Stern specs), and it feels great. My Epi Sheraton II has a custom 12-50 set suggested by the staff here, and it's perfect. I use that one mainly for jazz, and the balance and clarity is great, used to use 11-49, or flats, but these are way better. The main problem I always had was a less pronounced high E, stock sets just didn't seem to get the balance right. FIXED. Haven't strung up the LP yet, but that's next. Thanks for great strings and great input from the staff. Ordering again soon.

Best strings I've ever put one my guitar! So playable, don't take ages to wear in, each string is clear and defined when playing big chords. Would recommend to everyone you will not be disappointed

Straight out of the package these sounded amazing, they have a super crisp and consistent tone just like the description states. The .068 gauge makes for killer low notes in Drop B, and they hold tuning very well. These are now my strings of choice!

I've had my 8-string for a only a few months and I have switched string gauges many times trying to find what fit me on the 28" scale. I went with a light custom set before this one that was recommended by stringjoy. I dunno if it's just me or if it's the strings, but they seemed more flexible than other strings and seemed too light, so I thought maybe I could go heavier. I saw this set with the 90. I was skeptical of the 90 at first, but I wanted to try it because the 74 and the 80 just didn't give me the sound I wanted. These strings are amazing! They seem way more flexible than other strings I've tried and the 90 is perfect for my 28" scale in my Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid. With other strings I was having problems with 10s on the first string trying to bend a full step at the 5th - 8th fret because I kept breaking the string before I hit the note. I didn't have any problem with these hitting the full step bend and I think I might be able to do it with 11s. I thought I might have to file the nut for the 90, but it fit perfectly. My sustain is unreal now too. These are definitely worth the $14. I might try a little heavier strings next time. Hopefully the longevity matches the other outstanding qualities of the strings.

I just got these strings today. Strung up my epiphone Dot and right away I could a difference. I got these custom as to the gauges that Duane Allman and Jimi Hendrix used. Really like these and I will be a repeat customer. Also the hand written thank you note was pretty awesome too. They take pride in their business and it shows.

I've been playing stringjoy strings for a while now. I'm the kind of person who buys a bunch of packs of different strings to try ten all.

I always end up coming back to stringjoy,their strings areally superior(to me at least) if I have a gig or studio time coming up its either string joy it boomers on my guitars.

What's even better than the strings is the customer service at the place. I've messaged them asking for help multiple times deciding what gauges to put on my guitar & they never steer me wrong.

Loving the strings, so much more convenient than mixing sets like I did in the past for my 8 stringed toys.

Had about 8 or so hours of play so far and they are still pretty bright, keeping up with the big boys just fine.

Would love some thinner gauges for A440 or some .007/.006's for additional bending ability at G4 in the future though ;)

I'm a jazz guitarist who has used flatwounds strings for a long time now. After getting a set of these strings, I'll never need to use flats again to get a good jazz sound. They definitely sound great on my hollowbody and feel great too!

I like my strings heavy AF. Ernie Ball, Ddarrio, etc were not up to the challenge. Thanks for making heavy ass strings guys! If you play metalcore it makes a big difference. Love these guys.

Never-never-never have been able to set the right strings for Drop c?’?_until now! I don't know why all the other string companies think that a .052 is heavy enough for C?’?_not in my world! These guys kill it.

Just right. I switch between drop D and standard and the extra bit of tension on the 6th strings really, really helps things not to get too limp when I do. Won't every play another brand of string.
