Best sounding acoustic strings I’ve ever used and I’ve used many over the 40+ years I’ve been playing.

Ordered a set of custom gauge strings for my es-335, and had the guitar professionally set up to fit the new strings. And after receiving it back from the shop it feels and sounds absolutely amazing. The strings play wonderfully all throughout the fretboard, and the tone is top notch. The company makes you feel like part of something as well. Which is comforting to know that in the event something wasn’t right, they would do anything to make it right. I’m certainly a Stringjoy customer for life. After falling in love with your strings, I decided to try the conditioner. First of all, I think releasing this product shows you care about your customers first. This could conceivably mean less string sales if it helps the strings last longer. Also, I have never found one string treatment that I could use as they always left something unpleasant on the string. This is different! As a cleaner and conditioner, I love it! I sweat a lot and used to change strings before each gig. My Stringjoy strings already last longer, but with the conditioner, they can go even more. I clean them after any show or rehearsal and they seem like new again. No unpleasant residue, just smooth playing and great new sound. Thanks again Stringjoy!

Awesome extended range string pack. I tune my eight string everywhere from F to double drop D and these hold brightness, tension and clarity regardless of the tuning. Only issue was that the string didn't quite taper enough to fit on the tuning post, but this was easily fixed by cutting and unwinding it a bit with pliers to get it to fit. Excellent string pack for the price

Love the strings except I had to change the G string to a wound string. I like the tone better. But I don't think you sell a set of those with a wound third string.

I used this set for a BEAD tuning on my four sting. It was really great not having to buy a five string set and waste a poor lonely G string. These strings are top notch and being able to get a gauge set that best suits my bass is wonderful! Definitely trying string joy on my other basses.

During my rehabilitation/recovery, I tried a custom set of the inside 4 strings using SRV gauges, with and 11 and 50 on the outsides.

This set is almost that on the inside (except for the G), and 10.5 is better for now.

Most of what I do right now is to practice bending without getting the thumb involved. Given that, THE STRINGS STAY IN TUNE!

Hopefully, I will be able to actually play soon(?) and then I am pretty sure the strings will take the SRV-style abuse.

I think stringjoy strings are very amazing strings, they feel very cofrtable to play and the tone that comes from these strings sounds so rich. My band Let The Wolves Speak endorses stringjoy strings, we've played a couple of shows using them, and they didn't even slightly get worn out or rust so their sustainability is awesome. Great strings! Really like the tone I get from these. I'm slowly upgrading all of my guitars to these strings. A little pricey, but well worth it in my humble opinion.

The Strinjoy natural bronze strings that I tried are great strings! They play really smooth and have great tone. I immediately re-ordered so I would a set for my other guitar. Looking forward to trying the electric sets in the near future as well.

Soft. Not just for strings. For other things.

I like the heavier top strings I have large hands and lighter strings pull of the fingerboard too easily.I also like the heavy bottoms they have a richer tone! So for me it’s a great combo!

My next order will be for “light” electric guitar strings. I think your “extra lights” are too skinny for me. Other than that the look, sound ok.

So I've gone through about 6 sets of stringjoy strings now. I wanted to try a couple different gauges and several sets before I posted my opinion.

First, the strings are definitely high quality. I don't believe there to be any shortcuts in manufacturing. When I first received them I played them acoustically and was like wow these are really loud! That seemed like a great thing..at first. They play nice and the customer service is very good.

With that said, I had a couple issues.

The mids/bass of the strings is just too loud. It overpowers. I tried dialing my pups back, rolled the bass off the amp to 9'oclock...but the lower frequencies are just too resonant. It's possible it's just my setup, but this was on a couple different guitars. The strings are definitely dark by nature, but this was more than a tonal characteristic, this was just simply too much lower frequency resonance. For some setups that might be great, for me it wasn't.

Second, they should offer .025 gauge. I'm not sure why they don't and it must be the reason they increase the gauge of their sixth string to .048. In the description for the balanced 10s it says there is a big tension drop on the 6th string of a normal set of 10s...but that's only true if you are using a .026 4th string. That's why most other balanced sets use a .025 for the 4th string...it balances perfectly with a .034 fifth and .046 sixth.

Lastly, the price is just too high. I'm not insinuating stringjoy is taking advantage of or gouging customers and it could very well cost them more to manufacture. I'm just stating that, for me, $12 a set is just too much. They didn't last any longer than any other set...except maybe EBs, and the price just doesn't justify it.

If they start offering a .025 I might try them again, but hopefully the price comes down by then.
