These are the first phosphor bronze strings I've ever liked and have now, after careful comparisons, have replaced 80/20 bronze as my go-to strings. Excellent, warm tone, with less of the metallic zing that new strings have right out of the box. They also mellow nicely as time passes and they break in.

Revived my Gibson Epiphone and made it sound brighter than ever before. I think they could maybe feel a little lighter than they do, (I bought the extra lights, but also used to playing an electric). But a great set of strings and they certainly are balanced as they say. Hard to explain but when you play them, you “hear” what it means.

Just bought my first set of Stringjoy Strings 10-50 & put them on my Taylor 912 replacing the Elixirs. The difference in sound was extraordinary. The Stringjoys brought a warm and mellow tone to a usually bright sounding guitar. The warm tone is great for fingerpicking and light strumming but the projection & sustain is stellar. They are very sensitive to how you strum or pick them and react according to your playing style.
I found the 10-50 gauge had a little too much flexibility for me so I will try the 11-52's next time. Awesome string..Highly recommend.
