Excellent quality strings. Really brings out the rich mid-tones of my Takamine. Used Elixir strings before and while they were good, yours are better for the sound I want from my instrument. Plan to replace my two Taylors with Stringjoy light and electric string sets next.

Before ordering my first set of Stringjoys for my Gibson CL-20, I emailed the owner, Scott Marquart. I described my playing style (James Taylor finger style) and described particular dissatisfactions with strings I have tried over the years. He responded "How bout trying a set of the custom guages James Taylor plays?
I've been playing them for three weeks now. Bingo. Bang-on.
After that I wrote to him describing dissatisfactions with string response on my Eric Clapton Stratocaster (Lace Gold series pickups). Scott recommended another custom set.
Problem solved.
Then I ordered a custom heavy-bottom/light-top set of bass strings for my Thunderbird bass.
My experience in playing all of these strings has been beyond awesome.

I love these strings. The balanced tension string set is a genius idea, and it’s crazy that most other companies don’t offer a similar product. I have nothing bad to say about these strings.
