Hard to find a C6 set for lap steel. Stringjoy makes it easy. Plus, they make great strings! I've bought custom bass guages (low C) and now lap steel from them. Highly recommend!

I’ve only played them on one 3 hr gig, and a bit around the house. So far they still sound good. Still crisp and spanky. So until I’ve done at least 2 more gigs, I can’t really give you a good evaluation. I generally change strings every 6 gig hours, and because yours are expensive,I would have to get nearly 18 hours of gig time for them to be cost effective for me. I get my strings on line and buy 10-20 sets at a time, so they cost me about $3 a set. I do think they sound good, but I’m going to have to work them awhile longer. Thanks Chris

They're super great strings, I guess my problem has been intonation, and I'm not sure if it's my guitar or the strings but other than they're pretty solid

It seems like the core-wire is a bit light on these strings. I usually use .10-.52 sets for tuning to Drop-C, but with these strings, I found myself using the same tuning, even though I bought them to go much lower. The tension seems a bit too slinky for my liking, so maybe you could do a series for heavy-handed pickers like myself.

I truly love the strange they give a brighter sound and a stronger presentation.

These strings and this company is amazing! They really come through on all they promise!
I play bass and guitar, both with odd tunings. Not only did they help me balance the tension, feel, and sound across all the strings, but were able to “match the feel of a regularly tuned set of 11’s on my guitar” even with it being an odd tuning, and balanced..... plus these have stayed bright and lively at least twice as long as my previous brand.

I am very pleased with the 12-string set-up. I'm conducting a little experiment that is going very well, I have am Ibanez 12 string with factory strings on it set up in traditional style with the light string first and the heavy string second. It has an ok sound, but what I did with your set of strings is put them on my Taylor in reverse order with the heavy string first and the lighter string second.(this is how Wilson Phillips used to set up his guitar that really gave that "Chime" to the "Mamas and the Papas" sound. Man, my Taylor never sounded so sweet! Looking forward to getting back into the studio and playing both guitars on the same song and then blending the tracks. Am hoping to get a very unique sound by blending the two. Also, have put your set of 6 strings on my Fender Sratacoustic and setting up my Marshall for a real Heavy "Grunch", but really haven't had the time to get into it yet, will have to let you know. All in All, I think you cats are great, love how you have taken the time and effort to adjust the gauges, it IS a much cleaner more even sound. Will stay in touch. Spark. MWMENTERPRISES.NET

I was skeptical at first. Weird tensions and everyone claims they have the best formula for strings. But I thought I'd give it a try, what could it hurt. I am thoroughly impressed. The neck feels more natural and playability is so much better. Even after sweating all over my strings after a could of gigs now, they still have incredible brightness and clarity that is usually gone. Needless to say, I'm no longer a skeptic. I really love these strings.

I have used D’Addario strings for a very long time after trying many other brands/ styles. I order the Stringjoy’s after seeing and reading reviews. I’ve had them on my Martin for about a month now with 1- 3 hr gig and so far I’m impressed! They are holding up much better and longer and still have the new string ring! Another gig in a few days and I would normally change strings for it but I’m finding I won’t need to.
I’m pretty happy with Stringjoy so far and will continue to use these strings.
