Fantastic strings, my new go-tos

Awesome! I just love these strings, my search is over!

I love these strings. They have great tone and awesome sustain. Best of all they’re easy to play. I love to bend during solos and these strings make me sound like Clapton.

I Purchased for custom sets of your strings in the sizes that were recommended to me by someone else. The packaging is nice and each string is individually packaged in its own sleeve and marked with the gauge. Then the set is in an airtight package. This help keeps any corrosion or oxidizing to occur. I strung up four different guitars with the four sets I purchased A 1958 Les Paul R8 and a 1967 ES330 TD . The strings played very well as I expected. There are no tonal differences that I could discern in comparison to the other strings that I use. The only advantage that I can see is that I am able to have you build a custom set up for me. Only time will tell if they last and how they wear. This is only an initial review of the play ability of the the strings. The only thing that would inhibit me from purchasing your strings in the future would be the cost. But
then that’s my personal opinion. I buy my string sets now a dozen at a time For $45. There is a lot of competition out there and several companies that offer custom gauging. If the strings have a longer lifespan than what I am using now I would probably want to purchase sets a dozen at a time like I do now, but my price point would be $60 or less.

Superb clarity and tone. They play great and last long, even with regular heavy play. 100% recommended.

Love these 10.5 strings!!! Not my first Stringjoy purchase as I’ve bought 9’s and 10’s before. Glad they offer 10.5 as I was hesitant going to 11’s. These strings sound amazingly naturall and balanced. Feel great and Stringjoys will be my go to strings for both my guitars. Almost time to re-order....lol

These strings have immensely improved my tone. Playing in Drop G on a six string regular 25.5" scale guitar comes with many challenges. Using these, I achieve far greater dynamics and note definition! Thank you!!

Nice bright sound

They say one bottle lasts forever, but I'm not taking any chances. I've bought three, with the intention of giving one to a friend. And someday I will. But right now, I'm thinking, "What if they lose the formula? Then what will I do to make my guitars fun to play again?" This stuff is a miracle, a 20-second treatment that lasts all night, that turns old strings new again, that seems to remove that layer of tarnish or corrosion or whatever it is that feels rough under your fingers.Just buy it, try it; you won't believe the difference.

I’m so impressed with your strings. I’ve played probably every string out there and this are by far the BEST! I just got some 90 gauge to try. I’m tuning my 8 string down and I think the 90 gauge will work perfect! Thank you Stringjoy for making the best strings

These are the first and best balanced strings I’ve tried not going back to the usual suspects.

These strings are the best quality strings I’ve ever used. The tone, playability, feel, durability, materials and manufacturing are beyond comparability to any other string. One set has lasted 6 times longer than my previous brand! As for the cost I’m saving money! I practice 2-3 hrs per day & gig 2-4 times a week. That would mean changing out strings 3 or more times per week. I tell everyone to try a pack for themselves ... they won’t regret it! Well one of my fav Strats requires a change out after 2 months! So I tried this set first and it was great but I wanted a little more string tension. Btw my guitar is a completly modded/upgraded esp ltd sc207 with fishman fluence modern 7's which means it's 25.5 scale length. Anyways I tried the 10 64 next and for me It was much closer to the tension im after and I could have used that set forever but i decided to really dial it in further and use aspects of each set to make a custom set that's perfect for my guitar(it's the same cost as a pre selected set which is brilliant so why not). I'd also like to say this is now such a great sounding versatile guitar and a huge part of that was the string joy strings. I was using Cobalts by the only brand that makes them lol but not cause I liked the sound, infact I hated it. It was inconsistent and just too bass heavy. But it was the only set easily found that was close to the right tension/gauges. I was seriously skeptical about string joys claims at first. I seriously thought it was all marketing bs. But im really happy to say after using string joy strings on all my guitars its certainly not just marketing. Now all my guitars sound better. And yes string joy strings are a little more expensive but they are without a doubt cheaper in the long run. They last longer, I've never had one break on me even when I'm tuning and detuning a lot while working on my guitars. I have string joy strings on all my guitars now including my acoustic and each time the tone was improved when switching to string joys, not to mention the feel is also better. Anyways back to the custom set I use now. I'm using the 10 64 but with a 10.5 and the D is from the 10.5 62 set which just feels good but like I said I could use the 10 64 set and it would still sound better than anything avaliable. In fact i go back and forth using the normal d string gauge with that set and the lighter one, they both work great. Extended range guitars are highly finicky and need exactly the right gauge strings in order for that specific guitar to sound right. Because of this the old pre made set paradigm is worthless. Add to that the pre made sets(not including strings joys, their pre selected sets are thought out very well and solve many of the problems other brands similar sets have) are always terribly selected and you are stuck playing a guitar that could and should sound much better. If you haven't yet just try string joy strings once. Get a set to replace the strings on the guitar your most familiar with. Id recommend string joys version of a 10 46 set which is the 10 48 set. It has better tension without negatively effecting tone. I wanted a little more tension on my guitars with 10 46's but an 11 50/52 set was too much tension cause it changed the tone. String joys 10 48 set is just right and I plan on using it and my other favirite sets of theirs for life. And I used to love my DR pure blues which were great but string joy is just better and I couldn't go back now knowing what id be missing out on.

Top notch among the many ultra-lights I've tried. Lightning play -- you can set your string height lower. Rich tone -- would you believe on a steel hollow body resonator?
