I have to say, as a D’Addario user for years, these definitely have a different sound and feel to them that I prefer. My only complaint is that there was no info about where the tapering was for thicker gauge strings. For example I ordered a 13-74 gauge for my Schecter Chris Garza PT sig to tune it down to Drop E/Drop F. Upon receiving them I quickly found out that the 74 gauge would not fit through my locking tuner past the taper and would take several winds around the post before the string could even have tension. I was able to cut the string to size and the peel back the wind a little to make it work. Other than that, I have no complaints and look to continue doing business with Stringjoy.

I candidly did not expect these strings to make a huge difference but wanted to replace aging strings on a bass I picked up for cheap and was trying to play. Full disclosure I am not a great bass player and have not been very successful creating bass tracks that work as well in my recordings as the VST plugins. But the Stringjoy set made a tremendous difference. So I don’t have any more talent than before but the tones are clean and the strings have great feeling. Very happy with the result.

I've been an Ernie Ball Slinky & D'Addario (.010" & .011") player for a long time, but since my first set of Stringjoy strings, I haven't wanted to play anything else. They feel and sound perfect right out of the package, not brittle sounding either. Warm and balanced with the punch and consistent tone I had hoped for. I also use your balanced acoustic strings on my old Martin and again they have a beautiful and consistent tone. After 4 decades of playing live and recording in the studio, I'm very happy with Stringjoy strings.
