I actually used these as Bass VI strings since I wanted to do a sort of hybrid tension style between traditional short scale bass and Bass VI, and therefore needed much more than a .90 on the low E. This set did exactly that and I now know my go-to gauges for this new feel I put together. The only downsides are they've still got the bass ball ends and those stick way out from the body of my Ibanez SRC6 and I had to cut a lot of length off them during the restring to get the right length. Come on men, give us Bass VI and 9 string players at least a .100 to work with! Love you just the same though, cheers!

I just put these on my Eastwood Delta 6 electric reso and I love the full tone of these strings. Also they’re easy to tune and they stay in tune, unlike some electric strings I tried. I’m an acoustic guy at heart and the Eastwood has both a P90 and a piezo pick up. These strings work great for both, but when I dial back the P90, it sounds like I’m playing an acoustic. I will absolutely buy these again.

The reason I chose Stringjoy strings is b/c I kept breaking the wound G string on my acoustic. Stringjoy offers a string in the same gauge in a plain (unwound) type. Cheap fix for my issue and works great! I love it when things just work out.

The first time I changed strings on my new Epiphone dreadnaught I purchased light strings. I had no idea what the strings that came with it were. But the new light strings were buzzing, so I purchased the medium strings to try them out. There was no buzzing with the original strings. The medium strings are much better, but because there is still some slight buzzing, my next purchase will be of some higher tension strings.
