I'm a pro guitarist based in Las Vegas, who plays 200+ gigs/year. When my father recommended these strings to me, I thought "there's no way these could really be much better than [my old fav string brand]." Boy, was I wrong! I could tell the difference in my Suhr's tone immediately...I could hardly believe my ears. Overall, I'd describe the difference as having a richer midrange, while still feeling very balanced in the higher and lower frequencies. I had a colleague, another pro guitarist, surprise me at my gig that night by saying, "it's weird, there's something even better about your tone today." Tried these strings out for my multi scale Larada, needing a string option that essentially enables me to pick any gauge available. In my experience, the guitar world hasn't adjusted to modern metal needs yet. These strings delivered the exact gauges I needed and sounded great doing it. When I purchased a new (to me) guitar a few years ago, I loved the feel but the sound wasn't quite right. Rather than start swapping out pickups, I tried a few different strings to see if I could get closer to the tone I was looking for. As soon as I put a set of Broadways on, I knew that my search was over. The sound is just right for my playing style and the ability to get custom gauges has helped me to dial in the feel. I just wish that they made Broadways for my baritone as well.
On the one occasion that I had a quality issue - a ball popped off while I was restringing - the customer service team didn't hesitate for a moment to get some replacement strings to me and I was up and running again in day.

I took a chance on putting Foxwood 10’s on my Martin D 28 because I’m in my 70’s now and the finger strength is not what it used to be. I was not disappointed! The sound is great and my fingers aren’t fighting to play long periods of time anymore. Bends on the 1st and 2nd string’s are excellent as well. I bought a 3 pack and will put them on my 2 Taylor’s next!

Been playing jazz picks for over 10 years but always the super thick jazz-iii style. Decided to try a lighter gauge with these and they’ve improved my ability to sweep pick and play faster technical runs, but I’m not sure if it’s just cause they’re lighter gauge, or their material, but they die very quickly. Maybe after 3-4 hours of playing a pick is dead with no point. Still enjoyable though. Would purchase again.

I got 1-/52 strings and they were great, but I cannot justify the price compared to Ernie ball slinky top heavy bottoms. They are essentially the same but string joy is 4-5$ more. I'd love to support this brand if they were more affordable. I do however like the ease of making a custom set and will use you if that need arises. The picks were great though I will purchase again.

I'll update this hopefully, if one of the other sets gives better results (since I of course bought 6 sets..), but my first set of these have been pretty disappointing. I enjoyed the tone for the first couple of days, it's a bit more warm and lively than the E company's string. But 4 of the 6 strings were dead in less than a month, these are extremely noisy compared to the other coated strings companies and makes them very hard to use plugged in with a mix, because the string squeal is deafening. Considering these were substantially more pricey per set than the others, I'm a bit disappointed in how these turned out to play.
