I’m just a home alone picker. I am not an accomplished player. But I can tell what strings have better sound on my guitars. Stringjoy strings have turned out to be very tough competition for the Elixer brand I’ve used for years. I thought the coated strings would have the advantage when it came to noise from finger movement. But I really don’t notice much difference. So I give your strings the 5 star rating.

I got 2 sets of .010-.048 with wound .018 G strings. I also got 2 .016 and .017s.
The .018 G on my SG with PAFs "Stratocast" badly. I had lowered the pickups and screwed the adjuster screw for that string way in, but it would not go away. Before I changed the strings I tried the .017 then the .016. Though they decreased the modulation somewhat when I replaced all the strings with the new set including the wound G. That cured the problem. In fact I had to screw the adjuster out a little to balance the volume with the other strings.
The Signature strings sound great! They are very clear with beautiful overtones. I recommend everyone try them. Stringjoy's service is great also.

These strings are great as usual, really beautiful round yet snappy tone. Tonally well balanced, even on the huge .155 I think it was I got for my low G#(0). My only gripe is that there isn't a taper at the ball end, which makes gauges this big not sit right on a string thru bass and not intonate properly. The entire wrap of the string is sitting on the saddle of my Peavey Grind BXP 5 string and has subsequently made my action unadjustably high (I've slammed the saddle down to the plate and it still remains high) and this has also made intonation impossible to set properly for the low G# since it sits so high off the fretboard. If these strings had that ball end taper, they would easily earn back those two missing stars to hit a perfect 5.

I was lucky enough to get 2 sets of these amazing strings. I have been using Strinjoy strings on all of my electric guitars since they were available. It was the first time strings made that profound of a positive impact. I put on the Stringlabs and immediately heard the same type of impact. Wow. It's like getting a new guitar almost.
