I was a D’Addario Nickel XL user with my Electrics for well over 30 years and their Phosphor Bronze for my Acoustics. When D’Addario came out with their NYXL series I switched. They were better than the Nickel XL’s but twice the price. A little over 2 1/2 years I saw someone mention StringJoy on FB. I though alright I would give it a try and I ordered a few sets. I tried them on my Custom Shop Les Paul and my Ltd Ed Custom Shop Strat. Oh my!!! These were different. The tone was balanced. Clear and articulate with great bottom end but an overall tone that was exactly what I was looking for. Now all I needed to see was how long did they last and they exceeded my expectations. I play hard and my string bends are stronger and harder than most. When stretched properly they stayed in tune. Intonation was alway easy. Then I tried the acoustic strings right after that. All 13 of my electrics and all 4 of my acoustics all have StringJoy strings and will continue to. Thank you for making such great strings.
