F*** elixir. Brighter and last longer. Broadways on acoustic even at 50 play as good as 42. Was so worried about that and damn does it sound so. Much. Better. The hand signed note is so cool too much more personal. Exlixr, Ernie ball, Dan electro, dr, plus all the others don’t do that. 100% hand wound. SUPPORT SMALL BUISNESS. I ordered a custom 7-string set for a fan-fret Ormsby guitar (standard tuning + low A), using the string tension calculator. Couldn't be happier with the result, with beautiful string quality. If anyone is exploring this tuning this set (10.5 - 13 - 17 - 26 - 36 - 48 - 72) seems well balanced to me and provides a very playable low A, even with fingerstyle approaches. Thank you!
