I’ve tried many different brands and types of guitar strings through my years of playing guitar. I was adamant that when I found NYXLs that there wasn’t a string that could change my mind and make me give up my trusty D’Addarios.
Then I tried Stringjoy.
I won’t be looking back, for certain. The 11-50 Balanced Signatures were my weapon of choice. I like the tension of a good set of 11s, and boy does Stringjoy deliver. Not to mention the string had a clarity to it that I’ve never heard in another nickel wound string. The break in period is slightly slower than your average stainless strings, but still reasonable. They are very comfortable! I don’t have any issues with bending or digging in to the strings. They take me where I need to go and sound great doing it.
Then I tried Stringjoy.

I use an electric Stringjoy Signature Nickle balanced 10/48 set and have never had the long-lasting clarity and tone that these sets have had for me. I have other new manufacture’s sets on the shelf and don’t use them, preferring to buy more Stringjoy sets when they run low. I’m hooked!!!

Everything first class....I'm not good, but installed the pure nickels on my Hahn C and they are the best sounding yet on this guitar....very "clear" and your string cleaner keeps them that way....I have vintage tuners, so I hope I got the round core thing right and they don't unravel....so far, so good.

However these strings are not in my opinion as good as D'Addrio NYXL's.
For one thing they are a bit boomy (muddy) on the bass end, And There is a much longer stretch in period as opposed to NYXL's, Something in the metal make-up tends to leave these strings not as responsive, or should I say as much output. I will admit the longevity is very good. And I'm tough on strings. All in all I still favor the NYXL's. Break time alone made my decision. 2-3 good stretches and I'm ready to play. Your strings can take up tp a full day to settle in..

I found that the 80/20 Brights were ok for the first few days but seemed to have lost its brightness pretty quickly. With the COVID epidemic going on and not performing as often as I was pre-COVID, I was dismayed at how quickly the strings lost its tone. The electric bass strings also did the same. These strings are just in the average category.
