Always a great sounding and resonant string set! I just tried to use a slightly lighter gauge on the Gibson acoustic, not a great idea. My fault entirely, should have checked the tension specs on the new set. I will try again soon, just love the feel of the strings. No volume ever after the proper set up for lighter tension. No worries, I’ll check back soon and find the best set! Happy New Year

My first time purchasing strings here. Won’t be my last! My first pack I broke two strings while re-stringing, I told them since I’d never done it before I thought it was likely operator error! Their customer service folks sent me out the replacements without a blink! There are a lot of less than great online retailers out there, Stringjoy is NOT one of them! I’ve now repurchased experimenting with different weights etc. The price is more than competitive for the value of quality and service! Unless that changes, Stringjoy has earned my loyalty and my business for life!

Last night I installed a set of Phosphor bronze custom guitar strings for "new standard tuning" - CGDAEG - 10,12,20W,32,44,56 - on my Guild OM150. They sound and feel great. The gauges recommended on your site under NST worked out perfectly. After starting mandolin last year I was enjoying tuning in fifths and the new melodic possibilities. The middle four strings match mandolin tuning GDAE so I was strumming away quickly and learning how to add the 1st and 5th strings to complete those chords. Love the fresh clear sounds I'm getting with these strings! Thanks.(next week I'm setting up an electric with NST)
