I use 12/54 phosphor bronze on my custom Franklin guitar because they bring out all of the tones from the Honduran Rosewood and sinker Redwood that makes this guitar sound so warm yet still crisp.

This strings are great. They took a little while to get used to because of the tension curve across the strings. Because the B string is higher tension relative to unbalanced strings, the timbre is slightly different and it took some getting used to to find where on the neck I needed to play to get the familiar tones on unbalanced strings. That said though, once I got used to that, it became much more intuitive and I feel I have much more control. Also, these strings are the highest quality and they have lasted me a very long time. It's safe to say I won't be going back to other strings any times soon.

I bought 3 sets and noticed an immediate difference between these and store bought strings... I have used store bought strings from many different manufacturers over the last 40 years and none of them compare to String Joy’s strings..
