I changed my order after it had been packed and not only did they reply promptly, but they did the swap and posted it almost immediately. Fantastic customer service, and even better strings. They brought out the articulation and responsiveness that I didn’t know my P90s had. Premium price point, but you absolutely get what you pay for, and some. After playing for a little over 20 years I just began a new journey and really committed to some new tunings and different things. I was scared to do this as I planned to modify my guitars myself instead of taking them to a luthier like I have always done. I searched my options with a few other string companies that I used and loved but came across stringjoy randomly one day. I used their tension calculator, picked the exact gauges I needed, ordered a few custom sets and I haven’t looked back. I love the strings but I think what sold me was when I emailed them a very novice question and they responded quickly, thoroughly, and in a way that made me feel I was talking to someone I’ve known for years. Great strings, I use them on all my guitars. Never had a problem with them breaking before they should. For me the custom gauges are my favorite part. In my 50 + years of stringing guitars I’ve probably tried every brand thats been available.They have all had there pros and cons mainly staying in tune when they are new.
Stringjoy blows all of theme away they feel great and stay in tune from the get go.
I especially like that you can custom order the gauges that you want, and not what the others shove down your throat.
I have a custom gauged set on my strat, classic super lights on my 70 and 93 les pauls, natural phosphor bronze on the Gibson advanced jumbo and a set of 80/20 bronze brights on the martin spd26tr.
I just ordered sets for the rest of the collection. Top quality strings at a very affordable price.

Whether I get strings for my baritone guitar, lap-steel, electric bass, or electric or acoustic guitars, I can ALWAYS get exactly what I need from Stringjoy. It’s more than simply gauges. They have a wide selection of string styles as well. Occasionally, a custom set is needed, and their website provides easy selection with very user-friendly ordering system. If you seek knowledge about string gauge, scale length, tension, timbre, and playing “feel”, they have a wealth of informative videos on file, also written word-for-word for easy resourcing. I have also found their descriptions of tonality and feel to be exactly true and clearly stated. If you have a question, they respond with a helpful answer. I find their strings to last as long and sound as good as That Famous Expensive Coated brand! I’m a big fan of companies like this which provide great product, great knowledge, and achieve customer-driven goals, all at a reasonable price.

I'd seen ads for Stringjoy for quite a while before I finally bought a few sets. Speaking of the acoustic strings, my initial impression was that they were quite bright-sounding (though not unpleasant) especially for Phosphor Bronze. I thought "well that was fun" and resolved to go back to my previous go-to because I felt they had a warmer sound on the outset. A week of fairly regular playing later... and SWEET MOSES these strings age well. I got them broken in, and they sound significantly better than the typical brands, Elixirs, D'addario, Earthwoods, you name 'em. NO CONTEST. I also get almost twice the life out of these as I did with cheaper strings, so they're worth the little extra. If you're chasing great tone coupled with insane longevity, look no further. Break them in, and you'll never want to use anything else.
