I make a living playing one-of-a-kind basses in odd tunings For example, my primary instrument is a 5-string Resonator Bass tuned CGCGC. I can't just walk into a music store and get strings, or order pre-packaged packs.
Stringjoy offers such fantastic flexibility and ease with their ordering process and wide rand of guages. After a bit of tinkering, I've basically got my own prepicked sets ready to go at any time.
This is a luxury I've never had before.
The strings are bright and lively and reliable. They take a lot of punishment and keep on giving.
Furthermore, the price point is very competitive. That gets pretty important when you're changing strings on multiple weird basses every couple months.
When I'm on the road and need to have all my back up strings with me, because I *cant* just rush out and find a random set, I rest easier knowing that Stringjoy can hook it up, no problem.
