I purchased a set of Stringjoy’s Natural lights (15/70) for my baritone Emerald X20 carbon guitar. I thought the balanced tension string thing was a gimmick, but hay, why not give them a try. Wow, was I ever shocked the first time I played them. My retired, aged, fingers fell in love. The sound produced by these strings on a carbon fiber guitar are absolutely amazing. The vibrations can be felt throughout the entire body of the guitar, almost a growl on the lower B string. I liked them so much, I ordered more sets for the baritone, as well a another 6 sets, a variety, for my standard acoustic. The balanced tension thing really works. The strings stay in tune extremely well, and clean using the Stringjoy cloth. I would recommend these strings to anyone. I purchased all my Stringjoy strings with my own money for personal use. This is not a paid review.

I had previously used another brand of strings, and had trouble with them breaking and sweating through. I was frustrated and it was time for a change, and saw this small company making strings, and figured I'd give them a shot. They are priced closely with what I was using before. I bought a couple of sets to try them. They last longer and sound better than what I was using, and stay in tune wonderfully! I restrung all my guitars with Stringjoy, and even buy them to give to others to try them! I'm all in!

I am very happy with the various Stringjoy strings that I have used on my various guitars. I like that fact that they hold their tuning longer. And I really like using their recommended light/heavy string configuration. The only problem that I have had with Stringjoy strings was my own fault, when I overtightened the number one string on my PRS locking tuner. I find that having strings that hold their tune is especially important on my guitar with the Floyd Rose floating bridge.
