I've ordered electric guitar strings, bass strings, acoustic strings and most recently a custom set for a nashville tuning acc guitar.

I cannot recommend Broadways and Naturals enough. The strings sound is consistent thru a couple of weeks (vs. other brands that have a nice tone the first week then fade out)

Hopefully you will add a Chapman stick option later on.

The sound I get from these strings has brought new life to my 40+ year old guitar. They ring out like new for a long time which I also enjoy.

Loving these strings!

Well, I think I've found my new favorite string maker. Thus far, I've purchased a set of Broadway super lite (9 -40), Signatures super lite plus (9.5 - 46) and Custom 5-string bass (35 - 105) for a fretless with "high C tuning".

The Broadways are on a Daisy Rock Retro H I use for slide and have tuned to open E or Em. It's pink. I love it. I can get pretty close to Johnny Winter's tone if not his talent. I'll likely never change off the Broadways. They play slide electric blues beautifully - fat and smokey, full raunched out or stinging highs if you want it. I'm sold.

I've only recently put the Signatures on my well-modified Ibanez "Archimedes", a way out of production semi-hollow LP shape. I've installed Lace Alumitones, better pots, a parallel/series switch, treble bleeds and a Bigsby B30. At first blush, the strings are wonderful. Came to tune quickly, great full range tone (which is also the point of Alumitones). Might go a little lighter gauge next time. Old hands and arthritis are a bitch.

I am most impressed with the bass strings. They are on an older Ibanez 300 series fretless. I could never get it to sound like a fretless. It could honk. It could get low. It had no soul. Once I put the Stringjoys on it and tuned it to "high C", life changed. It goes "mwouwer" I can do Ron Carter. Jaco (with a little eq and chorus/phase). I could do Charles Mingus if I had the talent to understand his genius.

Simply put - I love Stringjoy. 1) the quality of the strings unsurpassed, and yes, I've tried those really pricey Euro sets. 2) the tension calculator and easy set customizing is so much better than all other companies' "take what we give you" approach. 3) they just feel great under my fingers. This is not a quantifiable thing. Stringjoys sound good, feel good and (need I mention) are very reasonably price.

Now I'm going to heat up some tubes and play some old Johnny Winters.

STRINGJOY is my “Go To” for electric AND acoustic guitar strings. I love how I can make up custom gauge sets to suit my playing, or what may be required for a recoding session.
I find it’s best to re-order a few weeks before I actually/physically need them. That way I know I am always going to have them on hand and ready to go. STRINGJOY string are extremely well packaged, but as an added precaution, I keep my strings in a de-humidified airtight box to prevent outside contamination. That way I know they will be as fresh as the day they were made. Thanks Stringjoy, you guys Rock!

Great strings, nothing negative at all to say

I love your strings. I am currently using 10-48. The only cons I have is #1 the G is very heavy sounding. Which is fine if playing country or newgrass, & not so great for blues which I mostly play. #2 My fingers start to drag across them within a week of playing so I start to have to use lube after that to extend life, But I do play over 2 hrs per/day. Everyday. I wish u had a set of Pure Nickel Strings that could get me to the same or at least really really close to the nickel covered steel 10-48 strings sound. I would even be willing to go up in gauges. Maybe 1 at a time for a few months until I got to that sound I'm looking for or at least close. Pros #1 they 10-48 steels I'm using right now are sweet. They sound really good. They feel really good for at least a week of constant daily playing. They give you that quick slicing attack. #2 The price is good, could be better, but affordable for some. This is a great age for guitar players, where we have lots of choice and high-quality options to get our fix and give our instruments the sweet lovin' they deserve. Stringjoy knocks it out of the park with great strings, great customer service, and an amazing string conditioner! On four different guitars with varying ages on their strings, the conditioner gave them new life and brought back that silky-smooth feeling of a brand new pack. After trying both a set of custom Stringjoy Signatures featuring my choice of gauge/size for each individual string as well as the popular Balanced Light Signatues (10-48) I can honestly say I was extremely pleased. I strung up two different PRS and the strings on both guitars had excellent clarity and the perfect amount of what I would describe as a subtle and very pleasing mid range punch. The playability of both sets were really good as well. The tension felt really well balanced and that’s always a huge plus, especially if you’re the type that likes to play all over the neck. They didn’t force me to work hard for my bends nor were they too loose and flimsy feeling so I would say they’re absolutely perfect for the PRS 25” scale length. Last but not least, the people at Stringjoy just seem to be genuine individuals who truly value their customers and will go above and beyond to make sure they’re providing you a quality product. The little things like the handwritten Thank You notes, for example, may not seem like much to some but it means more than they’re probably aware of. Never change.

Responsive strings, responsive company
As a player and builder I've seen a lot of reviews and tried nearly every brand out there and everything I thought to say here seemed so cliche. It's true these strings DO make my guitars sound more alive, with brilliant tone and that lovely bloom in the bass notes, crisper attack, and unbelievable nuance on bends, but even if their strings were just as good as any other, the thing that still sets Stringjoy apart is the sheer care and helpfulness from the staff both in the relevant, informative content they put out and the personal attention in answering questions about technical recommendations be it gauges or materials whatever the playing context. Of course the funny part is I really hope they succeed but don't get too big to stay this way. As long as that happens, these are my strings.
