Thanks to Scott Marquart's hospitality in answering my inquiries, he gave me a lot of suggestions of string gauges to try, we nailed it on a custom gauge set which i really love which is a gauge 8-48. Never thought i'd play that and love it and is perfect for multiscale guitars and regular. The tension is just perfect, and it is easier for me to control. Lead lines are more fluid and vocal like, and the lows are just full and accurate. A winner!

My 45 years long quest for the ideal string sets has come to an end. Over are the days when I went out to buy single strings to put my own customized set together. From the beginning all standard string sets didn't feel right to me. But now there's Stringjoy & Scott (really knows what he is talking about). The only drop of bitterness: no flat- or halfwounds...but hope dies last, doesn't it? ????

I recived the blanced light set about 2 weeks ago, and I just put em on, the first thing I noticed was the comfortable feel, & the tone was so crisp & has a very nice chime, and I haven't even plugged the guitar in yet. I'm looking forward to airing it out this weekend. So far I'm really dig em' fantastic! I'll definitly be ordering more sets soon. Keep up the good work!
