Our project was challenging as we wanted a rather large deck built up 20+' off the ground and then we wanted our swim spa built into the deck. This caused the crew to build the deck on timber poles and the swim spa caused them to put the posts only 12" apart due to weight issues. Diamond decks did a fabulous job on the deck and it looks far nicer than we could have hoped.

The guys that work for Diamond Decks are very professional. Starting from the owner Donnie, designer Kyle and the carpenter crew were excellent in their approach and the most important thing is that the project was completed on time and to our satisfaction. Its been only a couple of weeks but so far so good. I will give more reviews/comments/updates after a couple of months on their materials quality and the build quality. Donnie and Kyle, owners, are extremely knowledgable of design and construction of decks, arbors, pergolas, and other related structures. We recently moved to San Antonio from Houston and bought new construction. We had a deck added to our existing balcony and we could not be any happier with the finished product. Donnie is very well organized and very particular as to who can be part of the work crews. They are true craftsmen and it is well reflected in the construction. The finished deck speaks for itself. Rockstar Remodeling and Diamond Decks is a company I would highly recommend. Donny, the owner, did an exceptional job envisioning our desired outcome, and then working within our budget. The charges were reasonable, outlined up front, and then mostly not paid until the work was done to our satisfaction. Whenever we needed to inquire about the building process, or when we needed a roof repair refined, he both was easy to get ahold of, and prompt to deliver the services needed. The Arbor and Porch a great addition. Not only did they consistently show up on time, they work around our pets having to go outside. Donnie kept in touch before we had awarded the project and during the project. The men who built the deck were outstanding and have very professional work ethics. We were told what they were going to do and if they had to leave early or if one was not going to be on the project, they told us a day or two in advance. Their workmanship was great. We brought over several neighbors to see their handiwork. The sealing of the deck was another matter. Some of the deck was done fine, other parts were not. After 5 days of waiting for it to "dry", Diamond Decks sent out another person and his helper to strip and reseal the deck. They did a very good job and worked very hard to complete the job in one day. They worked almost non stop until after 7:00pm to get the job done, and the worker came back a few days later to see how the sealant had taken to the wood. I would recommend them to anyone and have to a neighbor who will be building next to us in the spring.
