I talked to one of the salespeople who was very kind and helpful. He directed me to the perfect ball hitch for our Suburban and horse trailer. It arrived in a few short days and was exactly what I ordered.

Had the best price I could find online. Product came with a 1 year manufacture warranty, but Reese-Hitches provides a lifetime guarantee on the product. Product was delivered sooner than expected. I have them bookmarked for future use if needed. Great experience.

Just picked up winches today. Will be a week before they are installed. So far I'm totally satisfied
with the winches and prompt shipment.
Thanks Reese Hitches

Fantastic quality. Immediate shipping. Does NOT work on a 2017 Subaru Outback! The frame is sealed at both ends. Requires a 3/4" metal bit to drill from trunk side to access chanel OR weld the hitch to the frame. Taking it to a local hitch installer to figure it out. Not as easy as it sounded. Disappointed in Subaru, not the hitch.

Excited to install my new hitch (looks great, fits great, good price), but...

disappointed all the stickers on it (including hitch rating) are upside down.

Good to speak with a real person who actually hnew what they were talking about. the only issue was that I had to go back and order the hitch on line rather that to the person on the phone.....

I rate this 5 star because it fit perfectly, installed as I expected and both the hitch and the harness are very well made. Before you purchase this hitch watch the videos on Youtube.com that give detailed instructions on how to install it. Make sure you are comfortable with this amount of work before you purchase. Watch all of the videos because they each are a little different and give you helpful hints that are NOT in the written instructions that come with the hitch. It is a 2-person job as described in the videos but I'm 72 years old and installed it by myself without a hoist so how hard can it be. I will admit that it took me two hours to get the hitch on and another hour plus for the harness. A couple of suggestions that I would add: For a 1-person installation loosely install the top two horizontal bolts on each side so that the hitch is swinging in approximately the correct position. To get the hitch up into that position I found a long tool box which the hitch rested firmly on and just one inch below the final location. From there I only had to push the hitch up another inch and hand start the bolt. In my 2017 GMC Terrain the weld nuts are in place for the horizontal bolts on the side but not for the two vertical bolts at the center. The videos suggest that you clean out the threads on the weld nuts with some penetrating oil and a wire brush. I found that they the bolts hand started just fine without this added step. Also I prefer to torque the bolts to their final specification with "clean, dry threads" which is the way the torque is specified in the assembly plant. Once you put oil on the threads, the same torque will give you much higher tension on the bolt - which could cause the bolt to fail. You need to loose install the vertical bolts with the snake device prior to putting the hitch up. The videos quickly show how to use the snake, which I was not familiar with, and the instructions that come with the hitch are missing a lot of detail. The hardest part of the whole hitch install is getting the two vertical bolts at the center installed WITH their washers. They kept falling in my face because it is a three hand job. I finally resorted to using double sided 3M mounting squares to stick the washers in place so I only had to worry about getting the nuts on. It should be obvious to any mechanic that you must snug up the vertical bolts before the horizontals and the same sequence for final torque to spec. This is explained in some of the videos but is totally absent from the written instructions. Something else I found lacking in both the written and Youtube instructions was the fact that there are two fascia brace brackets which interfere with the hitch. They are held to the body with an individual push pin and to the fascia with two screws. You need to remove the two screws to get the hitch in place. The bracket is so flimsily attached that it just shoves out of the way when the hitch goes in place. There is no way to reattach the fascia to these (2) brackets so I just used some Heavy Duty 3M Duct Tape to tape the fascia directly to the hitch. I believe these brackets are only intended to keep the fascia from fluttering in the wind coming underneath the vehicle and trying to push the fascia away from the vehicle. In my opinion the duct tape provides a more secure design than the original push pin brackets. Another change that I made to what was supplied was to add a 3/8 inch Split Flex Tubing to cover the wire from the tail lights to the center of the vehicle. Lowe's sells this tubing in 10 foot lengths which was about 8 inches more than I needed. This will prevent the wire from getting cut by the sharp edges that they route near - particularly at the outside ends. You should tape the top end of the tubing to the wiring with electrical tape. Do this near the tail lights and leave the other end free so that the wire can float inside the tubing as needed. There are minimal flex ties supplied with the harness. I used heavy duty flex ties to affix the harness/tubing to the top of the hitch - (3) per side. Then I used the supplied flex ties to take up the extra wiring at the center of the hitch. The tail lights are extremely hard to remove the first time - unlike what is shown in the videos. So you have to be very careful not to break off their locating pins at the front edge of the light. I was able to confirm the wiring integrity using a "Multi-Tester" before buttoning up the installation. I saved $100 at most installing it myself but I feel I got a much better job by doing it myself and I was able to do some necessary "re-engineering on the fly" which I don't think would happen at your local U-Haul. So to me it was worth my time. That is all I can think of. Good luck.

The tracking number given for speedee delivery did not work at all
The hicth came with some major chips and flaking in the paint
Think that this is an invitation for premature rusting
Had to touch up paint and install because of scheduled trip
Not sure what kind of quality control they have but this hitch should of not been sent out
