Our agent represented both us, and the buyer. I don’t feel confident that our (as sellers) interests were his priority. The doors to our home we’re left unlocked a couple of times while listed. Then, days before closing, we went inside our home and found that buyers had installed new flooring in our house without our approval. (We had given our permission for them to seal the garage floor, but never to change flooring inside the home). The AC had been left on running full speed while work was conducted, as well. At closing, title company inadvertently sent us a random person’s statement in error. We showed up to closing with a personal check, because we owed more than proceeds and were told at our closing appointment we needed to get a cashiers check. So we had to drive across town at that point, to complete the deal.
Although our house is sold, and the ordeal is over, We were not impressed with our experience with Remax and associated title company.

Annette Gore did a great job as our selling agent. We interviewed three agents before we listed and it was an easy decision once we met with Annette. She came very prepared for our specific situation and was most professional in her presentation. Annette always responded to our inquiries immediately. When some unusual circumstances arose with counter offers, she counseled us accordingly. She was present at closing and provided valuable direction to the closing agent that we would not have otherwise known. Being "old school," the only suggestion we would offer is that it would have been nice to receive a written (or verbal) thank you for our business a week or so following the closing.

I think the broker, I guess that is you Kim, should have introduced Your self to us - as we were in your office building many times. We really like Pat, she was great, but we had a very challenging home to get showings and it took quit a while to sell! We needed all the help we could get to get showings.
We were very actively seeking new ideas and methods of marketing our home. We ended up selling for $200,000 below cost to build. That's not blaming any one but myself, but I do believe we could have done some what better if we could have reached more viewers. Thanks for asking!
