It is a great bag and is so much better than carrying your dog through the airport. Our dog wouldn’t fit in any smaller than the large size, but we had to take the base metal out when we needed to put her under the seat. It also took some convincing at check in to let her travel in it. If your dog will fit, the medium would be more appropriate for air travel.

HI Michael - the document holder will hold the documentation folded in thirds as you would fold an 8 1/2 by 11" piece of paper to fit in an envelope.

Hello Claudia - we advertise that the Pooch Pad absorbs liquid keeping it away from your pet so the covering stays dry. The bottom layer protects from any liquid leaking out. If the pad was waterproof, the liquid would pool on top of the pad which would not be the desired objective.
