It was an experience and a half. Wow is all I can say. Traveling overseas with a dog in the cabin on a plane is not so bad...it is the getting through the airports that's hard. I missed a connecting flight so had an issue getting dog on second plane since space is limited. My second flight was late coming into Germany and trying to get help was an issue in itself when I do not speak the language. Finally got to the help service desk and they spoke English so we did ok after that. Daisie did well with all three fights. Only had to sedate her at the end since it was so long in the carry on bag. I only used one of the ten pills for the whole trip. All and all she did great for a 10 year old Chihuahua. She is adapting well after her travels. Paperwork was great. No one in Europe even looked at them which I was like "Why did a spend so much on this paperwork if no none is going to need it?" but I guess it is better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. It is not recommended to sedate a pet for air travel. Natural calmers should be used. Airlines have been known to refuse travel for those pets that are visibly sedated. Additionally, one must have the paperwork to enter a country. Whether a specific agent reviews the documentation is up to the agent processing your entry. Anyone not having proper documentation would be subject to that countries' regulations. Enforcement, while under the auspices of the country, is up to the agent. Not being prepared can result in denial of entry, or subject your pet to other regulations of that country.

Everything I have ordered for our big trip came on time and on quality. The kit included most of what we needed and I ordered some additional items such as the heated pillow. But all good and he haven’t had any problems during the flight as he was used to the kennel before the trip.

Long trip. Full day, Orlando to Las Angeles. Had to check Dixie in no later than 4:45 am and catch my plane (she was on the same one) by &:25. Whew! Landed, got hotel near LAX that is pet friendly for a 1/2 day rest.( 4:00 pm LA time) Picked up Dixie from pet holding, United Airlines. Then on to rest and relax in hotel and the pet park, part of the hotel. Left at 19:00 pm to get Dixie checked in to ANA and then on to the ANA flight to Japan. Plane transfer. Arrived in Hanoi next afternoon and collected Dixie and my luggage - no help! Dixie waited patiently as papers were processed (had to wait an hour for officials' lunch time was until 1:00 am). I have a friend in Food Import at Noibai Airport and she handed the work over to a friend of hers at Animal Import. 45 minutes later, she had entered a new country -Viet Nam! She finally got out of her kennel for a well deserved break. After 17 hours. It can be done!

Homer is a resuce pup and is being trained to be a service animal. He travel with me on planes very regularly. From his hard past he has a bit if anxiety when traveling. We have been enjoying our tour through Asia. Shenzhen, Hongkong, Beijing, Shanghai, Vietnam, Dali, Tibet, shangralila, lejian, So far it has been a little more than a year of traveling and 9 months to go to Indonesia, India, soule, and a few places in between.

We flew from Pa to CA to Shanghai China. A long flight but great Experience! Toose had me very worried initially for she would not go to the bathroom the entire flight, and only ate very little. But the moment we landed she pee for about 5minutes straight and was fine. We meet tons of people, enjoyed a wide range of foods and enjoyed all the beautiful places. Now onto Shenzhen China

I'm not sure who was more nervous Ginger or the humans... but one thing we knew was that we had all the right paperwork, which certainly take a little stress out of it. Of course the humans worried too much and Ginger was absolutely fine; excited and happy for new adventures in a new country. From Zambian bush dog to Barcelonian city dog ✈️

We started preparing for a Mediterranean cruise a year before it took place. We had to obtain all of the "livestock" importation forms from PetTravelStore.com, fill them out, have Che Titer tested at a certified facility and have the whole mess of forms certified by a vet and then the Canadian Agricultural Inspection Agency before we left. We had completed forms three inches thick for this cruise - one for each port of call. Without the PetTravelStore.com's importation forms and the guide for filling them out, we would never have been able to take Che on this cruise of a lifetime. Just so that there is no misunderstanding, Che is a certified service dog which allowed him to go on the cruise, however, each time we stepped off the ship, we had to have importation forms for him at every port, the same as any pet entering a country.
