We used the Pet Passport from PetTravelStore.com to assist us in bringing our 2-year-old chocolate lab, Pippa, along on a fall foliage tour of Cape Breton, NS, Canada. Like a seasoned traveller, she took all new experiences in a confident stride: the CAT ferry crossing from Portland, ME, to Yarmouth, NS; the bright lights and big city of Halifax; the scenic hiking and exploring of the Cape Breton highlands; and the maritime history (fish & chips!) of Lunenburg.

My cat Indiana moved to Dominica with me and my Fiancé while he attended medical school. Indiana loved chasing birds and lizards under the banana trees and hiding in the rain forest while Mom worryingly called his name. Moving to Dominica with our cat was easier since we came prepared with our pet passport. I provided this website info to other friends traveling to Dominica with their pets as well.

I always go out to find pets for the pet master, but according to lack of tools, it need much time to find, so I am looking for a tool for help.

I'd have been up the proverbial creek instead of a Peruvian mountain without PetTravelStore.com...traveled from Jamaica to Peru and then Canada, and all went well! Mr Myrtle loves his crate - did his new-crate training at a hostel in the Sacred Valley, even, Not on the road at the moment, but still using and appreciating it, and will use it to continue travelling. The other bits and pieces we got - glad of them. And the trip, well, that was so good we're planning the next one (and it'll be even bigger). Thanks for all your help!

I need to fill out some paperwork first.. so Ittybitty and I can go visit my parents in Florida.. Ittybitty is my lil service dog for me when someone’s knocking at the door or text’s went off on my iPhone.. She’s my big helper since I’m a hard of hearing .. I’m ready for the experience to tell later .. :)

There was quite a it of paperwork and various vaccines, titres and certificates to get from vet, CFIA and immigration permit and inspection upon arrival to TCI. All well outlined in Pet Travel Package.

Pet travel really made the complex process of pet travel fast and simple! It is easy to become confused with the number of paperworks needed and pet travel efficiently provided all the necessary documents. I will definitely use this site in the future!

Without the up-to-date info about bring animals into Mexico we would not have had the tick and tapeworm certificates. We got a "good girl" from the Customs Officer. Others had to wait for a veterinarian to come to the airport.

We had no worries with the bird travel carrier. We ordered it a few weeks prior and we got it super quickly! We flew 4500 from Hawaii to Buffalo on military orders for our Permanent Change of Station. Tiki didn’t make one peep! The cover allowed him to feel safe and he was able to sleep the entire time. The food and water dishes were easily accessible and it fit snugly under the seat in front of us on the planes. We started off a few weeks prior allowing him to sleep next to us in it and I think that definitely helped him feel safe knowing we were around. The perfect carrier and we’re so happy we bought it for him!

As advised, we have prepared the documents required. We encounter no problem with the airline, nor at immigration in US. Bobo is now enjoying her new home in California.

I travel with my 6-lb. dog to Europe about once a year and take every precaution to ensure we follow all protocols required by the EU for entry of pets. This includes USDA-approved paperwork, never flying through the UK and carrying the DataMARS scanner so that I can prove to any customs agent that my dog is microchipped. He is eight years old, and his chip is outdated by EU standards, so their scanners won't pick up the chip if they try to find it. Carrying my own scanner means I can wand him myself, and prove he is chipped. I was told about the Pet Travel Store by the travel specialist at my vet.

While no one has ever asked to scan my dog at a border crossing, I feel better knowing I am prepared, because as far as I know, the consequences of not following the rules could (in a worst-case scenario) include having my beloved dog taken away from me and quarantined.

About the scanner and Pet Travel Store:

--The scanner is lightweight and slips into my rollerbag easily.
--The interface is a bit clunky, so I make sure to carry the instructions with me.
--I wish this scanner didn't remain lit up while charging the battery.
--And finally, Pet Travel Store used to offer an option to rent this particular model (basically, you would order it online and then return it after your trip) which they have discontinued. I liked renting it since I have no use for it about 350 days out of the year, but I simply purchased it this year and now I will have it for all future trips.

I appreciated Jason and Gillian and whomever answered my many questions. I read and reread the directions and then followed them step by step. How to date my paperwork, color of ink, how to print the information. It was all very helpful! The only thing I didn’t do was the blood test. Overall, now that Rupert is safely in Ireland with his family, I can say it was a great experience.

I ordered the Pet Passport package online and then talked with a representative through emails. It was amazingly easy and the Rep. was helpful!

Paperwork was sufficient for Mexican customs along with his vet receipts for returning to Canada. Only one form is required - not all of them. Vet has options.
