I wanted to refinance, and Open Road Lending sounded good to me. I contacted them via e-mail and sent them the information they asked for. I work, and do not always have access to my phone, but the very next day I was playing phone tag with Ms Mulligan. I ended up talking to four different agents, and they were all friendly and knowledgeable, and each one of them was able to answer my questions and keep the loan process moving. It actually took me a week to get an approval for a new loan, but several days of that were on me, as I failed to provide all the paperwork in a timely manner. In all, the experience was a good one. Fast, simple refinance with a reputable lender (Wells Fargo)...Would refer others to them without reservation.

I was not aware that OpenRoad Lending was actually acting as a broker to refinance my Car Loan so it should have been clearer the role that they would play. After I had started the process I did my research online, which I know I should have done prior to starting the process, the reviews online were not kind but I had already started the process. All that being said, my experience was actually seamless and was fairly quick, my loan was approved and paid off within a 2 week period of starting the process and Wells Fargo Dealer Services was the new loan holder. They lowered my rate from 11.65% to 6.39% and lowered the monthly payment but they extended the term to 60 months but there is no prepayment penalty so I will continue with the same payment and payoff the loan early and still save hundreds of dollars. To summarize this review my experience was flawless but I had read that some people who had received the same mailer did not have a good experience and were not able to get approved.
