I was originally offered a little over 11% but after I completed my paperwork, I was informed that the interest rate was over 13%. I declined to proceed any further. I was later contacted by the same Representative stating that I could refinance after 6 months. I decided to work with Openroad Lending. Unfortunately, I was never informed about who refinanced me or any other details with regards to the loan or what to expect. When I received correspondence from the company about my first payment, it happened to be the very company I did not want to do business with. I should've waited a few more months to refinance with my credit union. Needless to say, I learned a valuable lesson. Shame on me.

Communication started out great. Then towards the end it wasn't as great. I was not informed who my new lender would be. Also I wasn't notified when the payoff check was sent out. I got my questions answered after I inquired. Communication needs to be great all the way through.
