Just made my third order of this rub. I just love it and so must others because it tends to disappear around here. The pepper note is pretty bright but I would not change a thing. My best grill master friend switched to this from a rub he had been making for years. I found Oakridge a few years ago by pure chance. I love them and all the compliments one gets when you serve it. Not just for BBQ. Secret Weapon Roast Chicken is a all age crowd favorite for example. FWIW, the quality has stayed the same from day 1.

I don't want to tell anyone what I use on my briskets because they rock. I have been making my own rubs for all of my BBQ for years and finely gave in a bought some black opp and my mixing bowl is starting to collect dust. Oakridge nailed this one. I'll be honest, this isn't the first time I've bought ORR. I bought the sample pack because they're all so good that I can't decide on which one to use. Buying just one is cheating yourself out of many different flavors. I've bought multiple rubs but something about the OG ones that they crystalize once added to the protein and seem to "melt" in to the it. No one has a product like Oakridge.
