I am thrilled with my experience. The prices are reasonable, and the preorder got here a bit earlier than expected. I was happy to find a history curriculum for the 1st-4th grade age range, as I feel like there is so little available. The books are totally beautiful, and I love that they are Christian based. We love Notgrass. Right now my oldest is going through Uncle Sam and You, my middle is going through From Adam to Us and my two youngest girls are doing Our Star Spangled Story. My oldest, who does not like school, and especially not history, loves history since we started with Notgrass 2 years ago. He remembers things from the reading and brings them up over the dinner table. The American Holidays section from Uncle Sam and You is especially interesting. Reading about National Aviation Day brought about planning a trip with his dad to an air show featuring the Thunderbirds. We love this curriculum.

I love our curriculum so far! We’re using it for first grade and plan on repeating it again in third.

We are greatly enjoying the reading and activities included in Our Star-Spangled Story curriculum. The format and pictures of the textbook are superb. We are happy with each of the components - the text, the workbook, the timeline book, and the poems/song book/CD. There is a lot to learn and explore and plenty to work with as far as projects and ideas. In other words, there are many different ways for you to implement the material and tailor it for your child and situation. The product is very easy to follow. Also, I love that the information focuses on people and their stories and varies from what America the Beautiful focuses on. My oldest, who has already completed America the Beautiful, often sits and listens to the text of each lesson. We are choosing to go slow and complete only half of the curriculum this year because we are also learning specific Georgia History together in fourth grade. The text is rich enough that I do not worry about interest level of my child for fifth grade next year, even though the curriculum says through fourth grade. We plan for him to begin America the Beautiful in 6th grade, supplementing with other sources to round out the lessons next year. Very pleased with the product.

Love dealing with Notgrass. Their materials are beautiful and the customer service is excellent.

My daughter loves this curriculum. It is so
engaging and much better than previously used ones because the pages are bright and colorful and keep her creative and visually stimulated mind interested. The journal, timeline and songs are icing on the cake!

I have told others about you and showed them my curriculum and they are going to order too. I feel so good knowing I have such a complete history curriculum and that it is truth. I will stay with Notgrass History. I also have been using the Bible study series the past 2 years and I ordered the record book this year. I love it all. My boys and I finally found the history curriculum we’ve been searching for. A well laid out, thorough yet simplified curriculum. As a homeschool parent, my favorite part of it is how it incorporates multiple subjects into one. Thank you Notgrass history!

I’m really enjoying the new Our Star Spangled Story curriculum with my youngest daughter. The layout is beautiful, and it’s simple to follow but rich with information and interesting visuals.

We love our Notgrass resources. A suggestion we would make would be to possibly video someone making the elementary level crafts in addition to the step-by-step pictures and instruction. Maybe a time-lapse recording. Thanks for following the Spirit’s prompting to provide these resources to our family.

The material is gorgeous. I do wish you didn’t push the “savior complex”. The idea that natives needed to hear the message of Jesus—we now understand to be false. They believed in Creator, God just looked different to them. Though it’s true that was part of Columbus’s agenda, it wasn’t necessarily a heroic move on his part.
