Notgrass History books are the most beautiful, well-written textbooks I have ever seen. After discovering them this year, I wished I could go back in time, start homeschooling my kids all over again and purchase every book they offered. I purchased 3 sets this year and I only have two children! I love them so much! I have two undergrad degrees in History and in Education, and a Masters in Curriculum Development. I wanted to take a moment and tell you how much my family is enjoying our new geography curriculum, “Our 50 States.”
My boys are 9 & 11 and while they know their US geography locations, we felt it would be beneficial for them to know more about each state. This curriculum has been the perfect solution! This is now their absolute favorite subject, and they actually CHEER when I say “Pull out your geography!” They’ve had an incredibly positive response, and particularly enjoy the video and song resources. My older son is often heard singing "I'm a Peddler, I'm a Peddler from Connecticut.." and my younger comments every day that he "loves Geography."
Every subject should be like this! Thank you for putting together such an amazing program.

Notgrass History fit my ideals for what my children would be learning in history. Specifically, I was looking for a curriculum that would teach Civics from the Christian perspective to my 5th grader and 8th grader. The curriculum needed to be easy to read and understand. I am thrilled that both children can read the text, understand it, and work through the lesson independently. I appreciate a curriculum that integrates other subjects. After finding the Uncle Sam and You curriculum for my older two children, I looked into a curriculum for my 1st grader. The 50 States curriculum is perfect for our needs. My daughter loves learning about the different states and what makes each one special and unique. After nearly every lesson, she tells me that we should really try to go that state because it looks so interesting to her. The pictures in the books are so beautiful that we all enjoy just flipping through the books to look that them.
