I love doing the lessons with my son. It is well written and I appreciate the way the pictures are referenced in the text so they add to the teaching. The lesson review is just enough and my son also enjoys the puzzles and other activities. The Citizen’s Handbook is a fantastic inclusion - things we most likely would not have read through other curriculums - and are a beautiful insight into the beginnings of our nation. I was looking for a curriculum I could do with my son and keep his interest and this is it! I’m learning too and I love it!

My children love Notgrass! We are doing the Uncle Sam and You course, and it is the first thing they want to do everyday. They even ask to do two lessons a day... if not more! I sometimes let the children do group work on their assignments. I tried letting them do group work with one of the assignments in this course study... it did not work out well. They had complete melt-downs, because they each wanted to do more work than the other... That's right, they were fighting over who got to do more work! They didn't want to split the work up, because they each wanted to it all! Needless to say, I just let them each do the assignment on their own. They absolutely love this course study, and they are even picking out the next one that they want to do!
