Began using MYMC for convenience mostly, being a shift worker doesn't always inspire cooking...absolutely amazing food, so tasty and satisfying.
I was recommended MYMC by a colleague and am so glad I got on it myself. Even my very fussy fiance loves the food.
Thanks MYMC, keep up the fabulous work.

All meals have been delicious and full of flavour! They are a great serving size for lunch and dinner. The meals always taste fresh and are as good as cooking the meal myself.

I only started a few weeks ago, but MYMC is a game changer! Each meal I’ve tried tastes so good and is so fresh. I am always looking forward to my meals and they are so good to have on the go. I have a subscription and the delivery is always on time. Highly recommend!

Some of the meals are great and others not so much. I had the Peking duck tonight and it was utterly disgusting. Tasted like vinegar.
Beef brisket is really good

I have tried over 5 meal programs from different companies and can honestly say the food from my muscle chef is worlds apart. It tastes freshly cooked, it fills me up even on the calorie control plan and on a hard deficit which keeps me motivated and decreases my desire to eat outside the plan

My housemate got me on to these and at the start I loved them as they were low calorie and super convenient for when I get home late from work/gym and cant be bothered cooking. I do however agree with some of the other comments. Some of my meals have also been inedible due to the strong over powering taste of vinegar:

- Vegetable Lasanga
- Coconut Curry with Pumpkin Mash

I had to bin both meals as I just couldn't push through the taste. I also found a mystery meat last week in my chicken paella meal, no idea what it was but it was like a meatball (but very hard and pink when cut) definitely wasn't chicken.

I think the quality of the meals has dropped to improve the taste. A lot of the meals don't really contain any vegetables and are just a meat with some form of carb and a lot of sauce to add flavour. I recently tried macro meals and they were much better as the ingredient list was a lot shorter and more wholefoods these meals also had a lot of veg.

Please bring back the pick up option as well as delivery $15 is a bit steep when most time the code offer for the month is only $15 so your essentially only saving on the delivery.

Love most meals, some not so much. But I find some of the meals packaging becomes un sealed before I have a chance to eat them im not sure if this has an effect on taste and used by date?

I first tried My Muscle Chef at my local fresh pantry just over 2 months ago. The meals are so flavoursome compared to other ready meals from the super market. I now purchase them regularly online as the set and forget option saves me from running down to the stores too often. I would like some more breakfast options to make things more convenient. Otherwise pretty happy, keep up the good work guys.

P.S. I tried the new chocolate drink yesterday and that was on point too.

So we are on our 4th or 5th week with using Muscle Chef and it's awesome that they actually have a vegetarian range. Whilst most of the things we have tried have been great. Every now and then, some of the meals taste incredibly bitter. I saw a similar comment and couldn't relate more. Sometimes they taste like you're eating vinegar and last week the same dish had a completely different flavor. It sadly happens to at least 20% of our orders each time which is disappointing. Convenience factor is great and if this taste thing could be sorted then what a service but it sucks when you're hungry, heat up a meal only to be hit with the zestiest taste of your life. I can't even push through the taste

Being a born and bred lifelong vegetarian, I have tried several meal delivery services recently, and My Muscle chef is the only one I'm satisfied with. Unlike the others, they are not trying to put meat flavour profiles into a lot of the vegetarian and vegan dishes. Nor do MMC have overly sweet dishes, I can't bear sweetness in a main meal. Nor do I like smokiness in meals, and there hasn't been any so far.
There is a vegan "beef ragu" and vegan "butter chicken", which I have yet to taste, so I can't review those yet.

I used to cook a lot, and My Muscle Chef uses the same type of flavour profiles that I would use at home. I cooked from all over the world, and a lot of those flavours are here. Occasionally, some things have been a little bland to my taste, but easy to add sriracha, or parmesan, or chili flake or whatever.

The, (subjectively), worst flavoured meal I've had from MMC is more than acceptable, unlike the competitors. I'm really happy with the selection and variety. They are a little high in carbs, but not hard for me to add a boiled egg, or other protein source. I do like the portion sizes - enough but not too much, and filling.

I like the system they use; the more meals in your order, the higher the discount, and you can freeze most of the meals. You can choose weekly, fortnightly or monthly delivery, and easily press a "button" online to skip a delivery or change things around.

The only thing I really don't like is everything coming in plastic, rather than lined cardboard, but, "swings and roundabouts". Everything reheats very well in my microwave, both from frozen and fresh. I like that everything is fresh, and you choose what to freeze. It tastes way better than supermarket frozen meals - you can tell the ingredients have been in better condition.

It's more than worth the time and energy saving for me to cook - and my meat eating husband is more than happy to eat a few of these. I used to waste a lot of veg due to ill health... I would buy them with a plan to cook, but frequently become ill and unable. This prevents that, and we supplement it with veg grown in our yard at times.
I'm a very happy customer!

I recently got introduced to the muscle chef brand and couldn't be happier. Good meals with enough variety to keep things interesting through the week. My personal favourites are Chipotle Chicken bowl and the Crumbed chicken. Delivery has been on point too. If you 're looking for simple meal prep I would recommend this service

Ordered 16 separate meals for myself and for my husband. Loved 4 of them. Thought 7 of them were very average and the other 5 were hideous. My husband didn't count what he liked or loathed but we both decided that overall they are not worth a second order. Too, $15 delivery fee is a bit much. Meals also expensive compared to other companies.

After having a trouble with my previous order, I was contacted by a My Muscle Chef customer service team member. They quickly sorted out my issue and sent another dispatch! I just had one meal just now, absolutely fantastic! Very pleased with their customer service and will continue purchasing from these guys in the future!

This turned out long, so hopefully it is worth the read, however I have written this with the goal to be as useful and transparent as possible and am open to corrections where I may be mistaken.

I previously provided an "excellent" review rating, but the longer I've used this service I have some huge concerns. To get the business perspective out of the way, I understand, it is difficult to provide an affordable service at reasonable prices while also being great nutritional value.
That said, they are slowly becoming just another "food service" and I wouldn't tout them as being of particular nutritional significance especially due to focusing their business on health/fitness. Not to make a huge tangent, but to make meals taste nicer, this commonly results in higher carb and fat content which I am noticing a lot in new meals included as part of recent menu updates they have had. MyMuscleChef is guilty of this, though at the same time I don't think they are entirely to blame as I have personally witnessed that their customer base complain about the flavour and taste of these meals in the past which would have led to this issue as well, but at the same time I implore you to note that this naturally impacts their integrity as a nutritional meal company, catering to uninformed customer wants rather than sticking to their claim of "healthy meals".

Issues I've personally encountered is a huge discrepancy in the claimed nutritional value of their meals. The main issue I see is they have inflated their meals' protein contents, ie. you are actually getting much less protein than they claim. Whether this is intentional or not, I don't know, but evidence I've found myself seems to indicate this may just be the case which I think you'll agree if you read everything I have to say.

I personally track all my nutritional figures to see how my body adjusts with my fitness regime. So naturally, I have a record of the nutritional value they have at one point or another included alongside each of their meals. The concern here being, as I check their menu from time to time for whatever reason, such as checking out new meals, I have a glance at older meals and occasionally notice that they have silently updated the nutritional values.
Common examples of changes include more carbs, more fat, more sodium, more sugar, and LESS protein for affected meals (This should already alarm you if you are interested in fitness/healthy living, though please note that I am not saying protein is the ultimate macro, but rather look at the issues posed by all the affected nutritional values).
This issue is compounded when you take into consideration the following notes.

Along with this, as I investigate nutrition heavily for my own benefit, the amount of ingredients they include did not correlate to nutritional numbers I deciphered myself. Given I'm just another customer you may take this at face value, but considering most standards of chicken breast nutrition, this is in the mid-20 grams of protein per 100g grams of chicken, but MyMuscleChef appears to have just used the highest recorded amount, which is in the 30g+ range if you look at a few resources.
It may not seem like much at first, but it adds up when you look at overall meal contents. Personally I've found that the protein of their meals is at best approximately 80% of what they claim (remember where I earlier mentioned they silently adjusted, read: lowered, their protein contents? This means there is even less), which also naturally affects the total calories which at this stage I am tracking these as 90% of what they claim. Might seem great, "less calories means I can eat more!" but the issue is not meeting your desired balance of nutritional requirements.

Not to mention there may be issues with how they record other macros, but these seem to be within acceptable margins of error when I try to decipher it myself so for the time being I will leave these alone, but feel free to be the judge of this yourself.

That said, they are great for getting food you would like to eat and they do it well with great customer service, however they should not be taken as a fitness or great nutritional food service, but merely just an alternative takeout food option.
It pains me to say this as I have personally enjoyed/gotten accustomed to using them for the convenience, but will admit that I am looking to phase them out and not depend on them if I can help it, especially in regards to my fitness/active lifestyle.
