Overall the advisor is well-informed, but I'm not sure I'd recommend the service for someone who has done extensive research on their own. It seemed that I knew more about nuances in the application process than my advisor at certain points. However, there is good insight to be gained by speaking with someone who has been in the admissions office before.

My MCAT tutor was phenomenal. Waiting to hear back on score, but my last practice test was up to a 519, so hoping to hear something similar when I get my score back! Go with Med School Insiders. You won't regret it.

Phenomenal tutoring experience with Will. Couldn't recommend him enough. Cannot speak to other tutors, but if you get the chance to work with him, you won't be disappointed. Waiting to get my score back but my practice test scores shot up from 502 to 519 in 2 months.

Will Richardson was my tutor for the hour and I honestly loved him. He was the best and I wish I could continue my sessions with him. But I say this and I’m giving this a four star because the prices are just ridiculous. If they weren’t so expensive I would honesty keep coming back. Especially for Will. He showed me a lot in that one hour. But the prices are just too much. Especially for someone that is already paying a lot for school. Which the people in charge should know how it is.

I'm an IMG, and for that reason doing well on Step board exams and shelf exams is super important. I went with Med School Insiders for Step 1 tutoring. My tutor was not only knowledgeable about the material, but also helped me point out ways I could improve when I'm actually eliminating answer choices and pacing myself so I don't run out of time. These guys are super detail oriented and hardcore, but in a good way. Thank you
