it was a little weird having them seem SO EXCITED to sell me a couple things, but i guess they're way more excited about mason jars than i am. i mean, i like mason jars. they're useful. but like, not my THING.
anyway, i bought two sets of fermenting weights and lids. they do what they're supposed to do, they are pleasingly well made with attention to detail, they were shipped promptly in an appropriately-sized container with appropriate packaging and not much waste.
they were also reasonably priced and i think the free shipping made them the cheapest choice for me, so next time i need mason-jar related items, i will look here first.

I'm delighted with my tops! I'm going to fill each mason jar with something special, maybe eco- friendly hand/dish soap, put ribbons on them and give them as Christmas gifts! One thing that would have helped me is some advice about measuring the straws. I'm not very good at eye-balling, so I cut them each a little short. As mason jars are, I think, pretty standard, you could maybe give the measurement or send the straws already cut to the right size? It would help those of us who are spacially/linearally challenged. Thanks.

The website is very informative and offers a wider variety then the Amazon shopping experience. I placed several orders and they came very quickly and WELL wrapped.
