I have purchased stainless steel underwater lights for a launch. Shortly after their installation the lights failed.
I was told by marine deals the product failed because the back plates were loose from factory. Their answer to me was, I had to do the quality control, remedy the poor quality workmanship before installing them. This is pathetic! Not only I was sold faulty lights but have now to bear the cost of having to haul out the boat and get them replaced. Be aware of product quality. Cheapest not always best.

I love this place and the people who work there. They have been the most helpful and honest guys to deal with who will go out of their way to help and spend extra time doing what they don't have to do - like showing me how to tie a particular type of knot. I have been buying on and off online for a couple of years and went a few days ago to get my Christmas present. They were frantically busy but still put the braid on my new rod, and tied the knot. Pretty easy place to order from. Can be annoying that some discontinued items are still listed as available, but a refund / store credit is generally processed pretty quickly. Shipping is very fast too, often next day.

I was a first time purchaser from Marine Deals and the last. The item i purchased was a rash shirt which was completely the wrong size even though it stated the size it was meant to be. Although the delivery of the item was quick dealing with this company for a refund was lengthy and frustrating. In the end I did get most of my money back less postage which should have been refunded as well.
All and all a bad experience and will never purchase any other items form them again.

Do not waste your money or time when it comes to purchasing a fishing rod with these people. They state "Usually ships between 7-10 days" under products that they don't even have in stock, however still continue to list them on their site as in stock and make you pay for it. Ordered a rod on the 29th of September and their "supplier" won't have it until the 29th of October, yet they STILL have the rod listed as in stock on their website. Completely misleading and un-honest business practice by these people, nothing more than a money grab. You shouldn't list products as IN STOCK on your site when you don't even have them; either invest the proper funds to keep your website up to date or get a new policy. Should have just gone to BCF, Tackleworld or even Ebay. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.
