I got the 5.2 Ah Samsung 10k E-Bike Kit 250W several months ago. I really like it! I use it to get to work, a 4 mile drive with 633ft elevation gain. This it does very well, if I help along. Usually I only use it for the big uphills. The battery died once at the end of the ride - though there is a possibility that I disconnected from charging, but left the switch on the battery on "on", which possibly discharged the battery.

Good:
Installation is fairly painless. Once installed, I can switch to my non-powered wheel in two minutes. Whole kit is fairly lite.
Great customer support!

So-So:
Button to get wheel going does not work well with a twist shifter. There is really no good place to put it. I have it going over the left shifter all the way to where my hand usually sits. This way activating the button is easy, but shifting is hard, because the cable is there, covering the shifter. It would have been good if LEED pointed out this problem.

Bad:
Some pieces where missing from the kit when I got it. In particular, the supplied washer didn't fit the wheel - the part is not like what is described in the instructions. After I contacted customer support all was resolved, and they sent me a replacement washer.

The bag that the battery sits in is much too flimsy. It is simply a piece of cloth wrapped around the battery, with some fasteners. The fasteners are really horrible. If you try to attach this "bag" to anything but to itself, the fasteners will fall off. I'm sure for the same price or 10c more, a much better system could have been designed. As it now is, LEED should warn the
customers that the battery bag will not be able to hold the battery on the bike. That's ok - one can then look for alternative solutions. But as a customer, I want to know that I need to look for one. Mine is in a Blackburn Outpost Cargo Cage. Again, customer support was great, and sent me a replacement bag.

The last point I'm not totally sure, but fairly certain. When the switch on the battery is in the "on" position, power is used even when the battery is not attached to the bike. When the switch is on, the battery seems slightly warm. I don't really understand why that is - it should just be off as long as it isn't used...

what can I said, all happen as they said will happen ,all my orders come on the time they said it will come , customer service is great , Leeds please keep Mandy for ever , the products are what they promise and more ,its a pleasure to deal with them

it would be well to advise mounting the battery prior to securing cables. Once all connections in place, all in working order. Thank you again Brian Sullivan

Not a lot of hills where I live by the Gulf Coast, but the low level winds can be brutal. Riding north wasn't bad today, and turning west was a snap with the rising east wind. The return trip against a 20-25 mph wind would have meant a call for a pickup if it weren't for my power wheel. It saved this 70-yr. old's ride and pride, and still let me log in 12 of the 15 miles riding unassisted. I'm soooo happy I finally bought one after years of looking.

Good service and good product (so far). Could have used a little more internal packaging to prevent shifting items inside carton. Easy to install kit and running great!

Working fantastically. I am commuting 20 miles round trip to work and home everyday. Having an electric assist makes commuting a breeze.

I put this on a Miami Sun 3-wheel bike. It works exactly as told. It was the best thing that I ever bought for my grandbaby who is 11 today and is a st. Jude patient and has problems with her right side and cannot keep up riding a bike with her cousins. Now she is Queen Bee pushing a button and keeping up with the others with ease. On a side note I took my rim to a bike shop in town to have the other Tire placed on it and the owner of the bike shop said this is the best e bike rim I have seen. The motor is completely enclosed. Everything was great except that the 2 wires from the control panel or On/Off switch were not connected and after charging the battery I was first concerned that the battery was defective.

My wife has had 2 strokes and cannot ride her trike on a slight upgrade. Kit was easy to install and she now uses the assist when the road grade gets to be too much for her on her daily outings.

I have purchased two front hub 250 Leed electric bike systems. I had a battery issue on the first purchase and Mandy sent a new charger. Problem solved. I liked the first so much I bought one for my beach bike as well. Easy to install....easy to use....

I۪ve had the 250w kit for over 3 years and it has never let me down! It۪s the perfect blend of ride-ability۝ of your normal bicycle without range anxiety. Ride as far as you want and use the motor to conquer hills or pull you home when you۪re tired.

Mandy always helpful when I didn't know what I was talking about at times !! Installed both motors and they work beautifully for us "senior" folks.

Purchased the 250W 10.4AH. After starting out with my shipment a few pieces short, customer service quickly resolved the issue once they were aware of the situation. Kudos for excellent customer service response time and resolution. While easy to install, I did have to make adjustments to the breaks on the bike I put it on. Also, the battery bag it comes with, at least my version the straps easily came apart. However, they resolved this issue too. Haven't had a chance to really test out the full product yet, only a couple of short trips around the block and it seems to work fine.
