My dog has had digestive issues for quite some time; but we were never able to pinpoint the problem. We tried a variety of dog food, from grain-free to homemade, spanning multiply brands, there was limited to no improvement until we switched to Ketonatural. Our pup, Jäger, experienced 6 seizures in his first 2 years and we were really worried. My elderly dogs require a low fat diet due to a history of pancreatitis, and my Boston has to be on a low carb (diabetes) and limited ingredient (IBD) diet (salmon). Ketonatural salmon lets them eat the same thing, and they love it!

I have two pit bulls, both have horrible allergies. Their skin always had itchy bumps and the bottom on their paws were raw from being so itchy. After trying countless brands of dog food, Ketona is by far the best. After the first week my dogs coats were much shinier. So far so good! I’m on my 3rd shipment of KetoNatural Salmon Recipe and my pup loves it! The goal is for him to lose 15 pounds and I figured if keto works so well for humans, it must work for dogs too. While the weight loss process will be a slow one, I have noticed a little more spring in his step after switching 2 months ago, so hopefully with a little more exercise and a strict keto diet, he’ll slim down to a healthier weight.

I don't usually write reviews because I think everyone is going to have a difference response depending on what they are dealing with. However, as a holistic nutritionist who has a dog with TONS of allergy issues, I wanted to weigh in on this. I LOVE what this company is trying to do and I am excited that they have a salmon recipe, because that will make a bit of difference, however chicken is one of the biggest allergens to dogs, so it kind of negates the rest of the amazing qualities of the food. The other thing that sensitive dogs usually do not respond well to is pea protein. It is quite a challenge to find a good quality dog food that checks all of the boxes. As of yet, no one has done it. There is another company that is AMAZING as far as EXTREMELY low carb (lower than this) and absolutely no grains NOR fillers. I was super excited to find them, however they only have chicken and beef options. If this company made a grain free formula, I would hands down be their favorite customer. I am going to attempt the salmon and hope that it works well enough for my dog. It is nice to see her pancreas responding better since the switch, however her energy levels have gone down and she has way more sinus issues.

Love that I can trust a kibble (for convenience and cost-effectiveness) to be proper food for my girl! It's marginally more expensive than a high quality normal (not low-carbohydrate) kibble, but I feel SO much better about it being her main source of nutrition.
